The sound of the highway was a constant hum a blend of honking horns, hurried footsteps, and the distant rhythm of a railway track,

Onaifa was running through the road, her mind miles away, absorbed in the mundane thoughts of her life that was not normal everything about her life was chaotic from her family to today,

what happened today was utterly shocking but she had to somehow survive she can't bear the thought of living with someone forcefully on top of that marriage?,
spending her whole life with a randwa?
Onaifa laughed but it is not the right time to laugh...

23 years old onaifa raees running away on her nikah day~

She barely noticed the rush of people around her, their footsteps creating a chorus of urgency.

The wind tugged at her hair, and the coolness of the autumn air pricked at her beautiful skin, but she was lost in thought, lost in a world that felt too heavy for her shoulders.

One step, then another until the sound of tires screeching against asphalt broke her trance. Her heart skipped a beat, and she froze, too slow to react. The truck, a massive black blur, came barreling toward her,

its engine roaring as it bore down on her like a predator closing in on its prey. Time seemed to slow as her eyes widened in horror. She tried to move, to step back, but her legs betrayed her. Her body felt weightless, as if the earth beneath her feet had disappeared.

Then, there was a crash.

The world exploded into pain, a sharp, searing agony that made her breath catch in her throat. Her body was thrown, spinning like a ragdoll caught in the chaos of a storm. The truck's front bumper slammed into her, knocking her off her feet, and she was flung sideways, her world tumbling, twisting.

The pavement came up fast, and everything blurred around her, colors and shapes smearing into a wash of confusion.

She tried to open her brown enchanted eyes, but everything was too bright, too disorienting. Her body felt as though it were unraveling, her senses scattering like leaves in the wind. She could hear shouting—people were screaming, calling for help—but their words felt muffled, distant, like they were underwater.

And then, just as her vision started to fade, she felt something strong arms, warm and firm, wrapping around her, pulling her against a chest that thudded with urgency. The scent of fresh rain and something earthy like wood and earth filled her nose. A voice, low and soothing, whispered her name, but it sounded distant, as if the world were already starting to slip away.

Hey… hey, stay with me,” the voice urged, desperate but calm, a perfect contrast to the chaos swirling in her head. She blinked, trying to focus, trying to see the person who held her, but everything was a blur. Shadows and light danced at the edge of her vision, and she could barely make out a face an outline, a silhouette but nothing more. His features were vague, a misty blur of softness, warmth, and strength.

For a moment, she thought she saw his eyes dark, piercing but the world was spinning too fast for her to focus. His face was too far away, his expression too clouded by the fog creeping into her mind. Still, she felt a strange sense of safety in his arms, like nothing else mattered. She wanted to hold onto that feeling, wanted to stay in the cocoon of his warmth, but the world kept slipping further from her grasp.

“Don’t go to sleep,” he murmured urgently, his hand brushing the side of her face. His voice cracked due to shock, just for a moment, a glimpse of something vulnerable beneath the strength. “Please, hey. Stay with me. Just… just stay awake.”

But onaifa could feel the pull of unconsciousness creeping in, thick and suffocating. Her eyelids were heavy, her body weak. The pain was fading now, replaced by a numbness that spread through her limbs. She couldn't fight it anymore. With a final, soft breath, her eyes fluttered shut, her body going limp in his arms.

“Don’t close your eyes,” he whispered again, though his words were lost to the darkness that swallowed her whole.

And just like that, everything went silent. The world faded, and onaifa eyes shut....
