As you lay down to sleep you noticed that your window was still open.
"Dang." You got up to close it but before you could somebody grabbed your wrist.
"Thanks for leaving the door open." They chuckled and shoved a rag in your mouth.
The next thing you knew, your vision was black and your head was pounding.
(I've passed out before, I actually fell backwards from my seat in the lunchroom in third grade and hit my head on the floor. It was disappointingly uneventful.)
When you woke you still couldn't see anything.
What happened? You thought and tried to speak but your mouth was gagged.
"I told you to finish her, not bring her here!" A man said from somewhere in the darkness.
"She doesn't know anything yet- we could use that to our advantage!" Another- more fragile voice replied.
"Did you at least kill the dad?"
"Yes I did that."
WHAT!? You internally screamed.
He could be lying. He's lying.
"Did you cover up your path?"
"Why should I?"
"Forget I said that."
"She's awake."
Suddenly whatever had been blocking your vision before was removed and you could see two.. Gray people?
