Joong.
"What do you think is after death?" I dropped my pencil on my notebook and looked at Pond feeling exhausted.
"If you keep looking at nothing with that look and ask me philosophical questions, you'll find out very soon" I said to him, pointing my finger at him and holding myfelf back from covering his mouth with tape.
"You've been in such a bad mood lately" he complained, looking at me as if I had six heads. "What's going on? Gemini stole your Armani underwear again?" Pond leaned against the back of his chair and crossed his arms, looking at me.
"Study." I looked back at my notes.
"All right, all right" I saw him from the corner of my eye raise his hands surrending, I sighed with relief.
"I will start studying when you explain to me what's happening" I hit my head against the table feeling on the verge of a breakdown, while receiving a complaint from the librarian who was passing by at that moment.
"Can't we talk about this later? We both have an exam the day after tomorrow and we're not even halfway" I tried to convince him, but he had a determined expression on his face and looked at me, fully aware that he would win anyway.
"All right, let's take a break" I gave in and, puffing, moved the notes slightly away from me.
"Go, I'm all ears," said Pond, sitting in the chair and smiling with a sneer. He was just missing the popcorn to complete the picture.
"I can't stop thinking about it," I simply said, letting myself go against the back of the chair.
"About what? Death?" he asked me, confused, showing a slight frown.
"What-not!" I waved a hand in the air and continued with the story. I was already in it.
"About him" with those simple words, Pond's eyes lit up.
"Ah, I see. Are you referring to the toilet boy?" he asked, even though he already knew the answer.
"The mystery boy?" he insisted as soon as he noticed my cheeks slightly warmed. It was not my fault, the heating was at the maximum in that library.
"Okay, break's over. Let's get back to studying" I cut short, taking my eye off Pond.
"Don't even think about it" he replied firmly, turning away the notes that I was trying to take back.
"What's the matter? Didn't he satisfy you enough? Or did you enjoy it too much?" I gave him a little look when he started moving his eyebrows ambiguously.
"Do you really want me to kill you?" I asked him, glaring at him.
"All right, sorry" he raised his hands and sighed.
"And you're not the only one looking for a guy anyway" I stared at him raising my eyebrows and Pond showed me a face.
"You mean Cinderella?" I asked him laughing as he sulked.
"If he had left the shoe, I would have found him already," he complained, leaning his head on the table as he looked around with a deep-seated gaze.
"You want it too easy" I shook my head and threw the eye on the screen of my phone, on which blinked a notification from half an hour ago.
I checked the sender and smiled reading First's name. Pond and I met him on the basketball court in freshman year of college, and we've been going out since then as soon as we had free time. Between classes at the photography faculty and shifts at the club he was often busy.
