Chasing you.

My ears were hurting becuase of the loud music playing in the house. The sweat came down from my forehead to reach my chest, which seemed to glow under the led lights hanging from the walls.

The white shirt I was wearing was loose enough to make the pectorals glimpse that a decidedly drunk girl was touching while dancing to the song.

Around me, people I didn't recognize were jumping and exchanging germs while moving their hips in a pretty uncoordinated way.

I searched among the crowd some familiar faces and finally saw my cousin Gemini drinking a beer while dancing with a girl who he didn't seem to care about at all.

I quickly removed the stranger I had laid on me and tried to reach him.

I put an arm on his shoulders and the chick, which seemed to get the signal, disappeared in the crowd.

"Hey, slow down" I took the bottle out of his hand when he started swinging. He came closer trying to tell me something I couldn't understand. "What?" I screamed in his ear. 

"Bathroom" he shouted back pointing to the stairs. "Shit" still holding the beer I lead him up the stairs, trying my best not to slip or crash against the wall. 

We almost overturned when Gemini threw himself on me. "I love you" he spluttered on my ear putting his arms around my neck. 

"Yeah, me too. Now go away" I said tired, trying to reach the bathroom without dying. "Where's Pond when I need him?" I whined out of breath. 

As soon as we reached the bathroom Gemini went to the WC and started throwing up his own soul. I approched him feeling disgusted and patting him.

I looked at the corridor so I wouldn't  see my cousin throwing up twenty beers. In that moment Pond passed by, looking for someone. He entered the bathroom as soon as he saw us.

 "Here you are! I thought you guys were downstairs" he looked at Gemini with a worried face. "We were" I stared at Gemini, who finally sat on the floor and laid with his back aganist the wall. 

With his eyes closed Gemini looked for us reachig his hands. "I want to go home" he murmured looking exhausted. Pond and I glared at each other shacking our heads and helping him get up. 

"You are already home, idiot" we hardly reached his bedroom, cursing to ourselves. Years passed since Gemini moved to my house, still he forgot where he lived when drunk. 

Laying on the bed, he put himself under the covers, resting his head on the pillows and sighing relieved. 

"We're going downstairs, we're closing the door. See you tomorrow" I slightly punched his leg while walking pas him, making him kick like a baby. Pond laughed and closed the bedroom door behind us. 

"Tonight's goal is at least six people for each" I challenged him, raising my eyebrows and jokingly pushing him. "Speak for yourself" he smiled at me shacking his head and walking down the stairs.

When I came out of the bathroom the girl from the night before was still there, I hoped it would disappear in those ten minutes that I had spent in the shower.

"Hey" she said looking down at me with her eyes half closed. I smiled at her as I wiped a towel over my wet hair.

"So, I'll see you later?" she asked, her voice softening and making me turn again to her with a confused gaze.

"What?" I asked her slightly abruptly.

"After class. At lunch" she said with an obvious tone. I laughed.
