OTM

I almost didn't believe it but Bey was really flying me out. A couple hours after a conversation she sent me my flight information.

Who was I to turn down a free trip to Chicago?

My flight was for a little before noon so I spent my entire morning getting ready and then waiting for my flight once I finally got to the airport.

She was picking me up from the airport so even though I wanted to be comfortable, I had to be cute too. I was wearing an Ed Hardy sweatsuit, a cute medium.

The flight wasn't too bad, it was about two and a half hours and I slept for most of it.

My nerves started to get crazy after I landed, I knew I would be seeing Bey soon. She made me nervous.

I texted her that I landed and then went to go get my bags. I only had my carry on that I had with me on the plane and a small suitcase. She didnt tell me what we were going to be doing so I had an outfit for everything.

I was standing at the bag carrousel waiting for
my bag when I felt the hardest slap on my ass. I quickly tired around with the suspicion that it was Bey and I was right.

I squealed and rushed to give her a hug, with my ass still stinging. She squeezed me tight and lifted me up for a second. We were acting like we hadn't seen each other in forever, it hadn't been that long.

"Ugh, I missed you." Bey gave me one last squeeze and put me down. "I have your bag, I hope."

She looked good, she was just wearing an Essentials sweatsuit but it fit her perfectly.

I looked at the ground next to her and saw my suitcase. "How'd you know?" I was glad she didn't have some random ladies suitcase.

"We went to Miami together, remember? I saw your bright pink luggage multiple times."

Oh.. I guess she was right. "Whatever. I missed you too."

"I left my car running at the front so let's go before I get towed."

She was definitely not supposed to do that. "Oh girl, let's go." I wouldn't be surprised if they actually towed her.

We left the area we were in and went to where the cars were parked. I knew when we saw her car before she even pointed it out for me, and it was confirmed when she unlocked the car. She had a dark grey Kia K5 that looked pretty new, but I could tell that from our FaceTime calls.

She popped her trunk with her keys and I let her do all the heavy lifting. After she put my bag in the trunk, she went to the passenger side door and opened it for me. I got in with a quick thank you and she went around to do the same.

"So what are we about to do?" I had no idea what the plan was.

Her car was already started so she just out her seatbelt on and pulled off. "Well let's go to my place so you can sit down for a second after that flight. Then, we can go walk around downtown- where my apartment is, and get dinner. Are you hungry now?"

"Kind of, I didn't eat today." It had been a minute.

She turned and looked at me like I was crazy. "It's the middle of the afternoon, we're getting you some food."

"It's not even that late, but okay." I wasn't going to turn down food.

"Chicago has the best Chinese food, we can get some of that and eat is at my place. That work for you?"

"Yeah." I was just excited to go to see her house in person. I had seen so much over the phone and I couldn't wait to see it online.

She drove us to this place while I told her about  my experience at the airport and flying. She looked good driving.
