I ignored Kelly calling me a traitor as I closed my bedroom door and pressed the Facetime button next to Beys contact name.

Bey answered almost immediately so I knew she was probably staring at her phone waiting for me to call her. She was outside with a styrofoam container and a blunt between her lips. "Took you long enough."

"Girl, just be happy I called." I plopped down on my bed and got comfortable. "But how was your day?"

"Calm, it was pretty much a normal day. How about yours? Did you end up going to class?"

"I did, so where's this treat you were talking about? It batter better be good because I was fighting to stay awake the entire time."

"What do you want for dinner tonight? You and Kelly, I guess, because I can't get food delivered to her apartment and not get her anything."

"Mmm...." I thought about it for a minute before I responded. "Benihana."

She laughed, "Now you know you would've been fine with some McDonalds or something, but okay. Get what you want for y'all and then let me know how much it's going to be so I can Zelle you the money."

"Okay." I moved out of the camera view because I was smiling too much. "Thank you."

"Of course."

I texted Kelly asking her what she wanted and scrolled on the website for a while deciding what I wanted to get for myself while Bey went more into depth about her day.

She kept her phone propped up while she ate so I got a mukbang of her dinner and when my food came I did the same since she paid for it.

We stayed on the phone the rest of the night, even when we were getting ready for bed. After spending a weekend with her, it didn't hit quite the same but having her on the other side of my phone still helped me fall asleep easier.
