Its Sunday morning, which apparently in the Goodman household means we have to attend church. I dont mind the idea, its just I have not been since my dad died. I just thought that if he cared he wouldnt have let a wonderful man like my father pass away. He was a wonderful person, I really miss him. However I guess heaven needed an angel. I beleive in God, but I am more of a 'dusty Bible on my shelf, pick it up when I need help' type of person.

"Rylin?" A soft voice came from the ither side of my wooden door. I recognized it as Brooke. Me and her had gotten really close lately, she was like a sister to me. "Yea? You can come in..." I say my voice trailing off as I dig through my closet for a decent shirt to wear with my black pants. I heard the click of the doorknob being turned behind me and turned to see an amused Brooke with Jackson standing behind her. I look at them in confussion.

"I didnt know you wanted me this bad babe." Jackson said with humor laced into his voice. In confussion I looked down to see I was wearing a lacy purple bra and black slacks. When I glanced back up my face flushed in embarrasment. When Brooke detected my discomfort she turned and pushed Jackson away from the doorway by his chest. "Sorry 'bout that, I should have told you he was with me." I nodded my head. "Its fine." I reassured her.

I turned around to continue my rampage for a shirt when I heard the springs on my bed squeak, confirming that Brooke had sat down. "What about this one, its cute." I heard Brooke say. I spun on my heel to see what she was holding up. It was a deep purple button down. The sleeves only came to my elbow, and was longer in the back then the front. It was cute, but wouldnt match well with my black pants. "I dont have pants to match." I told her as I turned back to my closet. "Hold that thought!" She yelled before sprinting through the threshold of the house.

I stared at the bed where she was just sitting a secind ago but now was empty.  A couple minutes later she came through the door holding a pair of white skinny jeans. "Try these they will match perfectly, then you can wear those purple wedges." She said while pointing to the heels in the bottom of my closet. I was going to tell her it was fine, but she gave me one of those 'do it bish' looks so reluctantly I nodded my head and stepped into the bathroom to change.

When I stepped out Brooke was standing next to my dresser with a picture in her hand. Quietly I walked up to her, peering over I shoulder I realized it was the one of my family at the beach. "You was so happy." She murmered quietly, "what happened?" My eyes widened, how could I tell her I was raped? That not exactly normal news. I havent even told Jackson, and thankfully he hasnt asked. So I decided to play it safe. "What do you mean?" When she turned to look at me I saw she could see right through my facade. "You had a spark in your eye, you were so happy. Your smile was genuine, and your family was perfect. But you already know that dont you? I see the way you look in the mirror. You look disgusted with yourself. My brother may not notice it, but I do. Now tell me Ry, what happened?" Her voice was soft and pleading. Almost as if she had to know. But I couldnt tell her.

Instead I pulled out the black box from the bottom of my drawer. A pink ribbon was tied around it. It was my mothers engagment ring box. Inside layed two peices of paper that announced how my world was shattered. I havent looked at either since they was placed in there, but the security of them made me hold on to them like a lifeline. Silently I handed her the box. We made eye contact, and I muttered one word. "Later." She nodded in response, understanding I didnt want to talk about it.

To lighten the mood I stepped back and did a twirl. "What do you think?" I questioned, stopping when I was back in front of her. Her mouth fell open. "They. Are. Perfect... No a mtter of fact keep them. They will never look the same on me again." I chuckled at her before pulling on the purple top and wedges. I had used the curling wand to curl my dark hair, and applied natural makeup.

When me and Brroke walled down the stairs I spotted Jackson in dark blue jeans, and a pale blue shirt that was tucked in. His Ariat boots were dark gray and his hair was laying perfectly. His hands were shoved deep into his pockets, and he looked anxious...or maybe it was scared. Deciding not to worry about it for now, I shook my head and led everyone to the door.

JACKSONS POV!!!

After Brooke shoved me away from Rylin's room I headed down stairs and turned on the TV. I wasnt really paying attention as I scrolled through old pictures on my phone.
That was until I heard a familiar name.
"...Swarts has a 10,000 dollar bounty placed on her head for anyone who finds and collects her. Police report that the bounty was placed by Doctor Emmons from Southside Correctional Institute." A picture of Rylin sitting in a court room flashed across the screen. But was gone as fast as it came. I heard the girls approach so I flipped off the TV and walked to the bottom of the staircase, where I would meet them.

When I noticed my hands shaking I shoved them into my pockets, and put on my best effort of a poker face. When I saw Rylin she was wearing a purple shirt, and white pants that reminded me of a pair Brooke owned. brooke was wearing a salmon clored shirt with a black skirt. When they reached the bottom of the stairs I notticed Rylin looking at me funny, but shook her head and headed for the door.

Okay so I made it longer to make up for my vacation. Once again thanks to @ForeverYoung414 for the ideas. Comment and vote...all the stuff to make my day!
Thanks ~Bre
