Me and Brooke have been home a grand total of three hours. Within that time frame I have see Jackson once.
After he said hi to us he practicaly sprinted up the stairs and into his room. From the kitchen where me and Brooke was cooking supper we could hear him pacing the floor. Ocasionally it would stop and we would be met with the sound of him banging the keyboard of his laptop, honestly I am surprised the keys arent broke yet.
"Do you want me to put the garlic bread in?" I heard Brooke ask. When I turned around I saw two hot mittens on her hands and pasta sauce swiped across her cheek. I chuckled at her appearance. "Yea thats fine." Then on second thought I added, "I will be back in just a second... I think I forgot my phone in my room." She gave me a incredous look before pointing an accusing finger in my direction. "Admit it. Your checking on my brother, wondering why he keeps pacing. When in reality he probaly just got drunk and doesnt remember why he woke up next to some brunnet with a big butt. Plus your phomes right there." She spoke before pointing to my phone laying on the table. I laughed at her assumption before storming up the stairs.
"Lugnut?" I asked softly while gently pushing open the door. He was sitting in his office chair tugging on his hair while he stared at the screen on his laptop that was on the AT&T website. "Hey Ry." His voice was almost inaudible with how quietly he spoke. "Are you going to tell me why you have been MIA and whats wrong or am I going to have to agree with Brooke?" I asked. I sat down on the edge of the bed, and watched as he noticably sighed before putting a megawatt smile on his face, that sadly was obviously fake.
"Im fine. Just thinking, so when is the spagetti going to be done?" I could tell he was trying to be chipper and change the subject but his voice broke giving him away. "You can-" I started but was cut off by brooke yelling up the stairs to "get our pretty little asses down stairs." I made a noise at the back of my throat because of her inpecable timeing. I stood up ready to leave when I felt Jackson tug on my wrist. I spun around to meet his eyes for the first time. I almost recoiled at the amount of visible emotions swimming in his glassy orbs. The one that stood out the most was fear laced with caring. "Umm, I know I have been ignoring you today so I was wondering if I could make up for it with a date tonight?" His voice sounded pleading, but not like he wanted me to go. Reluctantly I nodded my head before going down stairs to eat.

I stepped out of the shower and shivvered as the cold air hit my exposed skin, sending goosebumps up my arms. I clutched my towel and dirty clothes tight to my chest while I raided through my drawers looking for a different bra. I could only find one but it kept poking me im my side. I groaned in frustration before giving up and putting it on anyways. Not knowing where we were going, I picked out a mid thigh length jean shorts with a flowy blouse.
When I came down stairs I saw Jackson in dark jeans with a white hollister shirt on. Im not going to lie he looked hot. "Are you ready?" I nodded my head to Jacksons question as we walked out the door.
The car ride was quiet and I swear we was driving away from any type of civialization. This thought was confirmed when I saw us pull off onto a dirt road, which soom ended and we drove into the forrest. Stuck between excitment and horror I sat awkwardly in the front seat while Jackson continued driving. I was excited because I thought maybe he had made a romantic setup on hill somewhere for the date. And horror because he could easily murder me right now. Then I wouldnt have to worry about faking my death.
The car came to a stop in a dense section of trees. An old tree stand hung high in a tree. But thats not what count my attention. What caught my attention was the shiny black Sedan parked beside us. "What are we doing here?" I asked nervously as I glanced to a pissed looking Jackson. After a couple of minutes I thought he hadnt heard me, but he soon turned to face me, grabbing my hand in his. "Listen Ry, I am about to do something that your going to be pissed about. If not worse. But I need you to know I am sorry, and didnt have a choice." I watched as a single tear slid down his cheek and splashed onto our conjoined hands. "But no matter what I need you to continue to trust me, can you do that?" Confused I slowly nodded my head. Jackson leaned forward and placed a soft kiss on my lips. As he pulled away I felt the door of the car swing open.
When I turned to see what happened a hand wrapped around my face. Another was gripped in my hair as I was pulled from the vehicle. My butt smacked the forest floor as I tried to scream and reach for Jackson to help me. Our eyes locked for a breif moment. I saw all the fear I have seen all day come poring out of his eyes in waves of tears. Once again I tried to scream but was met with that voice. "Calm down darling." Instantly my body went ridged, goosebumps of fear raced across my skin. I shivvered in pure disgust. But none the less I was to shocked to utter a word as I was dragged to the car. I caught a glimpse of Jackson once more as he banged his knuckles on the wheel. Tears were profusly dripping from his face, as I was simply to shocked to form any.
I wasnt surprised when I felt the familiar silk cloth tie around my wrist. It was the same cloth that haunted me every day and night. I was thrown into the back of the car, and watched as we sped away from Jackson. When my eyes locked onto his in the rear veiw mirror I felt the terror build and the water works start up.
"Im surprised you hadnt figured it out yet little lady." When I didnt respond he continued. "Jackson is my nephew."
Okkkaaaay so yea sorry for the cliff hanger. Vote comment, and I will update soom as always. Thanks guys ~Bre
