When Leire woke up in the morning, she noticed a soft purring noise and smiled seeing Pistachio was next to her. However, the smile disappeared when she noticed where she was...not her bed, but Robin's. And he wasn't there because checking the time, she noticed he had probably left over an hour ago. Robin left knowing Leire was still in his bed sleeping. Since Leire had fallen asleep before he did, she wondered whether he slept there next to her and Pistachio or if he had to go somewhere else because his bed had been occupied. She was too scared of the answer so she wasn't going to ask. But had she done it, she would have found out that Robin stayed there looking at her until he fell asleep himself.
Before Leire had time to get out of the very comfortable bed, her phone started to ring. Robin.
"Hello?"
"Were you still sleeping?", asked Robin, noticing how sleepy she sounded and slightly nervous at the thought of Leire in his bed.
"Yeah, I was up late looking after a cat. You might remember that...".
"I do but I'm calling because I need a favour".
"Ok?"
"I forgot my passport at home and need it now for some paperwork the team has to do. Can you bring it here for me, please?"
"Where is your passport?"
"Should be in my room. Can you go check? It must be on the floor because the only explanation is I dropped it on the way out. It's not in my car. I checked".
"I'll go look. One sec".
Leire pretended she was walking from her bedroom to his...because it'd be embarrassing to admit she was still in his bed when the kitten had already left to use his litter box.
"And it's on the floor".
"Amazing! Can you be here as quickly as possible? I'll buy you your favourite dinner tonight as a thank you".
"Oh you definitely will. I'm on my way. See you in a bit".
Taking a deep breath, Leire went back to her room to pick up her glasses and brushed her hair quickly. She put on some shorts and ran down the stairs. When she was looking at the jackets, she noticed one of Robin's hoodies there. The colour matched her shorts...so she took it and put it on.
It didn't take too long to get to the training centre and since Robin had already warned security about Leire showing up, they got her guest pass ready for her.
"Robin!"
Both Robin and all the teammates who were there turned to look at Leire. But only Robin jogged towards her, smiling.
"You brought the passport?"
"No", she rolled her eyes while taking it out of her pocket. "I'm here because I've heard they got great food".
"Thank you", Robin was looking her up and down and Leire felt the need to cover herself. "Is that my hoodie?"
"Is it?", she asked, not looking at Robin. "I just grabbed the first thing I saw and put it on. Barely had time to brush my hair so...".
"Did you have breakfast?"
"No".
"I'll take you to the cantine".
"Robin, you made me drive here for the passport...".
"Marta!", he said and a woman walked towards them. "The passport".
"Oh finally!"
Marta left quickly and Robin put his hand on Leire's back to direct her to the cantine.
