A/N: Euskera is the other official language of the Basque country, apart from Spanish. So it's one that Leire speaks.

"He won't get inside the carrier".
"Buy why?", complained Leire while she tried to get Pistacchio to move.
"He probably thinks we're taking him to the vet".
"Aww...no honey, we're going to France! Isn't that exciting?"
"I doubt the cat cares about traveling".
"Well", shrugged Leire. "He better get used to it because whenever we go back home, he'll be traveling with us".
After many treats, Pistacchio was finally in his carrier. The cat meowed a lot at first but once he noticed he wasn't going to the vet, he seemed to calm down.
Leire was excited for the two of them. Going to France, to meet Robin's family, was so special. She had already met his family multiple times but this was their first family trip with them as a couple and that was different. Wonderfully different.
"My sister will be late, but everyone else is already there", said Robin while they walked from the car to the cabin Robin's family had rented. She could see the mountain that surrounded the place and smiled. As a San Sebastián native, she was a big fan of mountains. She loved going there for hikes and to enjoy the nature. So this holiday spot was perfect.
"Leire, finally", said Robin's mum when she saw them holding hands. "Welcome, darling".
"Merci".
"That's the only thing she knows how to say in French", said Robin and his mum shook her head.
"It's nice she tries. Don't be like that".
"As if you could speak Euskera", muttered Leire.
"I speak more Euskera than you speak French", said Robin, annoying Leire more.
"But if I insulted you in Euskera, you wouldn't know".
"And", he said, lowering his voice so only Leire could hear. "If I say dirty things to you in French, you don't understand what I say. But by the tone of my voice, you know what I mean".
"Shut up".
"And you blush like you just did. I love having this power over you".
Leire ignored Robin's taunting and followed his mum to the room she had picked for them to stay. It was as lovely as the rest of the place and Leire felt like she was in a book world. This place looked too pretty to be real.
"What are you doing?"
"Writing".
"I can see that", said Robin, sitting down next to Leire, who kept writing down quickly on her notebook. "Are you describing this place?"
"Yes. I can use it for a book".
"A smutty book?"
"I'm only going to write that book so I can throw it to your head", she glared but was amused by how he teased her constantly about that other book she was still writing. But Robin didn't know that.
"This place is even nicer in the winter".
"Yeah?"
Robin nodded. "You can see all the snow around. It's quite dreamy".
"As dreamy as you are?"
"Almost".
Their time there was very dreamy but Leire noticed something weird. Whenever Robin was with his mum or siblings, they whispered. And if they saw Leire approaching, they stopped talking. What was going on...
