Reeeaaaalllyyyy Short
It was raining outside, thunders so loud and lightning so bright, you couldn't even close your eyes for a second before wanting to cover.
You loved the storms! Truly! But, this one..seems so violent..
Your little ears lowered just a bit as another thunder strikes down, scaring you only a bit, making you flinch from the shock.
Your soft green eyes welled up with tears, your little hands clutching onto the little blanket you had.
"M-mama-!"
You called for her, of course you did, you were your mother's baby, occasionally daddy's too, but today it was mom.
You little tail moved a bit closer to you as you tried to cover yourself, hide from the cruel weather.
And it didn't take long for Ronal to get to you, she was just in the next marui. Her own green eyes focused on you the moment she stepped in, her tense shoulders slowly slumping forward as her eyes softened at the display of your fragile self.
"Oh little one..."
She mumbled softly, quickly coming over to you as she scooted you up, hugging you close to her as she sat down, gently cradling you close to her chest. You immediately felt safer, only in your mama's hold did you feel content.
"Mama...I'm scared.."
You whine, wrapping your arms around her shoulders, making her heart ache. She knew you were her soft spot. Ronal could never say no to you and your soft green eyes, just like hers.
"I know baby, I know, it will be all over soon..."
She hummed, putting her hand on the back of your head gently, making you lean on her chest as she knew that will help you calm down.
She was in deep thought though, what will make you fall asleep sooner? Oh! She knew, you always loved this as a toddler..
"The monster's gone, he's on the run and your mommy's here... beautiful beautiful beautiful, beautiful boy/girl."
She sang softly right next to your ear, you little eyes sparkling with awe and love as your eyes droop sleepily.
