"Aww, why did it have to rain?" LaRay whined to herself, sitting on her bench and looking out the window. It had started pouring down rain, came with the total package thunder, lightning, and strong winds. Smile was still cozied up in his new bag, sleeping, not even bothered by the roars of thunder. LaRay flinched each time she saw a flash of lightning, she never liked the thunder and lightning but she always thought it was cool to watch. She carefully moved away from the window, not wanting to get shocked, move too fast you'll get shocked. (A/N: It happened to me, moved too fast from my bed, which is right next to the window, lightning flashed and thunder crashed, I got scared and got shocked.)When she was sure that she wasn't going to get shocked she scurried into the living room. Harry was there, eating chocolate bars and watching tv before he had to go into work.

"Your boss is really making you come into work today?" LaRay asked him, he nodded his head without turning his attention away from his show.

"Storming or not, still have to go in. Only cares about money." Harry said turning off his show and putting his hair in a bun, signaling LaRay that he was getting ready to go. Harry grabbed his keys, coat and umbrella after putting his shoes on.

"I'll see you later, ok?" He said heading towards the door.

"Well, duh. I have nowhere to go!" LaRay laughed, bouncing on the balls of her feet.

"Yeah, I know." He said opening the door, the wind came gusting in as well as the rain then came the thunder with the strike of lightning. "WHOA!!" Harry slammed the door and yanked off his coat, tossing the umbrella away, and taking off his shoes. He undid his hair and scurried away from the door and jumped onto the couch."THERE IS NO WAY IN HELL AM I GOING OUT THERE!!!" He yelled while grabbing his phone.

LaRay covered her mouth to hold in her snickering. She doesn't blame him, she wouldn't go out in that storm, hopefully Niall won't. She skipped her way to her and saw Smile crawling out of his bag. He let out a squeaky little yawn before scratching the back of his ear with his hind paw. LaRay went over to him and picked him up.

"It's time for you to get a bath!" LaRay said to him in a baby voice. She walked to the kitchen and put him in the sink and moved the faucet to the other sink. "Harry, I hope you don't mind me using the kitchen sink to clean Smile." She yelled.

"No, I don't mind." He replied before going back to the conversation on his phone. Probably his boss. LaRay told Smile to stay and that she would be right back, he understood and panted happily. She went into her bathroom, grabbed a bar of soap for the cabinet and brought into the kitchen. She filled the empty sink with warm water, she picked up Smile, put him in, and turned off the water when it was at an appropriate height.

She got a mug from the cabinet, dunked it in the water then poured it over Smile's head. She lathered her hands up with the soap and started to wash him. He tried to move away from her hands and started whining. "Oh, hush your whining, you're almost done." LaRay said letting go of his leg, dunking the mug in the water again, and pouring it over his head, rinsing him off.  LaRay went to the closet in the hallway and pulled out a towel. She went back into the kitchen and wrapped towel around him, taking him out of the sink. She carried him to her room, she dried off Smile and put him on his bed, he didn't go into his bag this time.

Smile shook his body the whole time under the towel, it sped up the drying process. Once she took the towel off of him, his fur puffed out, but was still a little damp.  LaRay walked out of the room and into Harry's, she walked into his bathroom and took the hair dryer. It looks like it hasn't been used, why buy one when you don't use it? Well, she can't judge because he might use it just not every single day. She walked back into her room, plugged up the dryer, and just when she was about to turn it on, the doorbell ranged.
