House-elves worked around the room, setting out the good dark blue silk bedsheets, dusting off the bedside tables and adding vanilla scented candles.
The Lord and Lady room at Slytherin Castle was huge.
The bedroom was a dark blue with gold accents. The bed was large enough to fit 5 people. A dark blue canopy was at the front of the bed, the curtains tied back but when released covered the bed from both sides and most of the end, only leaving a little gap at the front for the Lord and Lady to look through. A beautiful silver chandelier hanging over the bed.
Two dark blue and gold bedside tables each has a candelabra holding 4 candles that the lord and Lady can light with their magic. The headboard was a dark blue velvet with a gold trim. At the foot of the bed was a medium side bed bench in the same dark blue velvet as the headboard. On the left of the bed was a large arch window with dark blue curtains allowing natural sun and moonlight in.

On the other side of the room directly across from the bed was the same blue color with gold trimming around the fireplace. On the right was two arch trims shelves filled with books. On the left side was another arch shelf with books as well. Above the fireplace mantel was a painting of a phoenix in black and white.
On the mantel was three candles and a vase of flowers. There was a candle chandelier over one of the seats. To the right there was a small window that overlook the garden, with blue curtains. There are two dark grey sitting chairs, one in front of the window with a footrest and one by the fireplace. A small wooden table in between the chairs.
