I am continually looking for ways to pay my bills, just like the rest of us indies. Perhaps this is the road to go down. Music NFTs (Non fungible tokens) are the future!

An NFT is a unique digital item stored on a blockchain.

Three ways to sell your music in todays music industry:

The video (above) shows three ways to sell your unique masters as NFTs and also explains the basics of selling NFTs within the music business. This makes so much sense today as streaming doesn't pay for most of us. When you offer music on the blockchain, the ones who buy get certain perks for owning it. You decide what they get. You set the price. If you sell 20 NFTs at $50 each, that's $1000! To get the same amount of money through streaming (you need 1M views!) is not an easy thing for most independent musicians. Think about it!

Tokenising your music with smart contracts -Every time you sell your music on the blockchain, that sale is going to be traceable and verifiable on the blockchain.

You can see who the owners are

You  can split the royalties to get paid out directly (at the time of sale) into the wallets of the owners of that music.

Every song becomes an individual token. Each token gives them access to the perks you offer for that token. (See the video!)
