It was official now. Bright was dating Man. And Paing had hooked up with Thanit. They had been together with their partners for over a month now. But never in Paing's mind, that the happiness could be revoked so quickly after he received a call from Bright that day.

"Phi....help me...Phi..." Said Bright, crying histerically on the other side.

"What's wrong, Bright? Talk to me." Paing quickly turned the speaker on for Thanit who was with him at the moment, to hear the conversation as well.

"Phi...Phi Man...He...he is in the...the emergency room right now..." Bright said between his sobs.

"Did he say Man?" Thanit asked just to confirm that he didn't mishear.

Paing nodded before he continued talking to Bright while he got up from the bed and got ready, fetching the car key and his wallet from the bed side table. He gestured Thanit to do the same too because he wanted to go to the hospital right away.

"Bright...tell me what is going on." Thanit asked while they both clambered into Paing's car.

"He was involved in a car accident. Someone purposely hit his car and ran off." Answered Bright.

"Purposely? Were you in the car too?" Paing queried.

"No...but I...I was there, Phi. I saw everything..."

"Did you report it to the authority?" Paing wondered.

"I did, Phi..."

"Okay...just wait there. We will be there as soon as possible." Said Paing before he ended the call then accelerated his car.

When they reached the hospital, both Paing and Thanit immediately rushed to be with Bright who was crying quietly on a seat in front of the emergency room. Paing immediately reached out for Bright and gave him a hug.

"We are here, Bright...We are here with you..." Paing said to console his brother.

"Phi..." Bright couldn't say anything more. He simply buried his face on Paing's chest and cried.

Thanit didn't want to intervene, but he was curious about something. He decided to question Bright even though it was not the right time. "Did you see the person who hit Man's car?"

Bright shook his head left and right a couple of times.

"What about the plate number? Did you see it?"

Bright lifted up his head and told Thanit what he saw. "No, Phi. Because whoever he is, he took it off."

"I wish you did see something on the car, Bright..." Thanit sighed. "Maybe that can help us find the person behind the wheel."

Bright suddenly became quiet. "Err...maybe I did. There's a sticker of Chucky on the back of that car. I told the police about it too."

"Chucky? Who the hell is Chucky?" Paing's face scrunched up instantly.

"The scary doll in Child's Play. It's an old movie." Bright explained.

"Just a sticker of him?" Thanit asked again.

"There are also some written words underneath."

"Let me guess, it says, 'Chucky On Board'. Am I right?" Thanit retorted.

"Don't tell me you know who was the driver." Said Paing once he saw Thanit's expression. "You know him, didn't you?"

"It was Ben. I am pretty sure it was him."

"Then, we should tell the police." Paing suggested. "It will make the search much easier for the police."

"Later. I want to confront him first." Thanit was furious. He truly wanted to face Ben and get his revenge. "He thinks he could get away with it, well he's wrong."

"Why did he want to hurt Phi Man? Because Phi Man rejected him?" Bright questioned Thanit but somehow, he already knew that probably might be the answer to his question.

"Ben wanted to get back with Man? He never said to me anything about that. When did that happen?"

"I don't know when exactly, but he told me about it at the beach hotel. It must had happened before that."

"I guess, Man told you because he has set his mind and heart to be with you. He chose you already." Paing smiled as he said that to his brother, gingerly rubbing his back to console that man.

"But I'm worried....Phi Man is in there for hours. Would he be alright, Phi? I don't want to lose him. I'm scared, Phi. I love him.." Bright uttered in tears. He was shocked when he saw the accident. Man was backing out his car when he noticed the other car that was parked nearby suddenly accelerated and hit Man's car before he ran off. Man's car was spinned a few times before it hit the road divider and made it flipped over and rolled down the road.

Bright was too shocked to move until he saw people started to gather around Man's car. That was the time he finally got his sanity back and rushed to Man's car, praying that Man was still alive.

"He'll be fine, Bright. He is a tough man. He will get through this fine." Paing said to console his brother, even though he was not sure if Man would get better. To be honest, he was scared too. If Man didn't survive after the accident, it would take a toll on his brother. Bright would lose the love of his life, and he might not be able to accept the worst that might happen to Man.

Seeing how Bright crumbled, it made Thanit anxious too. His best friend didn't deserve to be in that situation. Man just found his happiness, and because of that evil bastard, he would cause Man his life. Subsconciously, he started to pace back and forth in front of the emergency room, biting his nail as he waited for the news which he wished would be good.

Approximately one hour after their arrival, the emergency room's door finally opened and came out the doctor who was assigned to attend Man.

Thanit was stunned, because that doctor was someone who used to be so important in his life. Unaware that Paing was watching him closely, he subsconciously mumbled the doctor's name that he never thought to bump into ever again. "Phi Tae."

Even the doctor was surprised to see Thanit. He slowly moved towards Thanit, and embraced the man who seemed shocked by his presence, failing to notice that there was a furious man who was ready to punch the doctor.
