"Still no news?" Asked Man when he met Thanit at his house.
Thanit shook his head and threw his gaze out of the window. "I don't think they want to be found." He couldn't hide his sadness anymore. He knew the day would come for them to accept the fact that the relationship they had with those brothers were now over. It had been almost six months since the last day they saw them. The brothers had cut contacts with them and vanished without a trace ever since the incident that happened at the hospital.

"I think so, too." Man grimaced as he stared at Thanit's sad face. "Maybe...we should move on." He suggested, although he wasn't even sure he could do it.
"Can you really do it? Can you live without Bright? I don't want to see you try to end your life again like last time when you broke up with Ben." Asked Thanit worriedly.
"I was stupid back then, but I have learned my lesson. Besides...I have you by my side. You can give me moral support that I need to keep on going." Man retorted. But he didn't sound that confident.
"What about me? Who is going to give me moral support?"
"Dr. Tae, perhaps?" Man beamed.
"Are you crazy? He is the reason Paing left. I will never get back together with him."
"But he still loves you." Man said, wondering if that wasn't enough for Thanit to reconcile with his old lover.
"Well, I don't. I feel nothing for him." Thanit relayed what he felt. He tried to feel something for Tae, but he got nothing.
"What about me? Can you feel something for me?" Man suddenly asked.
"What?" Thanit was perplexed by the question. "Dude....you were asking me something that you already know the answer."
"I know." Man replied while looking at Thanit's face that seemed flustered. "But...it won't be absurd right, for you to like me."
"Are you drunk, Man? You're talking nonsense."
"Am I?" Man grimaced as he exhaled deeply. "I know...it sounded weird to you because we're best friends."
"It is weird."
"But...I just want someone to love and be loved. And who is the best person to choose if it's not my own best friend? You know me. You know my flaws. We work in the same industry. I do think we can be happy with each other."
"What about Bright?" Thanit said to remind Man that he already had a boyfriend.
"What about him?" Man scoffed.
"I mean...your feeling for him."
"To be honest, it's nearly gone." Man admitted that the feeling had started to vanish as well ever since Bright was nowhere to be found. Bright wouldn't ditch him too long if he did love him. So, why must he keep on waiting for him to return?
"However, unlike you, I have been constantly thinking about Paing."
"You still love him?"
Thanit's lips were pursed firmly. "I don't know." He replied with honesty. "Besides, even if I don't feel anything for Paing, I don't think I will consider you as my life partner. I'm not trying to make you feel offended, but just imagine me kissing you and having sexual intercourse with you. It's kind of weird."
"Why don't we give it a try?"
"What are you suggesting?" Thanit tried to understand where the conversation was going. He had a hunch actually, but he might be wrong.
"Why don't you let me kiss you and sex you up? You might like it, you know."
Thanit guffawed. "Oh my...where did all these ideas come from?"
"From a dream." Man gave a brief answer. He wasn't lying. He had a dream about Thanit last night. It was not just a normal dream, but a dream of them living like a couple, having sex and all. It felt so real that he was hard when he woke up that morning. He even tried masturbating while thinking about Thanit, and he succeeded in reaching his climax because of Thanit. It was unexpected, but picturing Thanit naked did help him.
"A dream?" Thanit gaped at his best friend.
"A wet dream." Man said unashamedly. "I dreamt that we fucked, Thanit. I fucked you because in my dream, you were my boyfriend. You were naked, and damn! You were so fucking sexy."
"You got to be fucking kidding me right now..." Thanit was flabbergasted by what he heard from Man.
"I...I'm not. And the funny thing is, instead of Bright, it is you who have invaded my brain. I don't even know why, but the picture of naked Thanit that is trapped inside here," Man pointed to his head, "...is making me hard again." He looked down at the bulge that started to get bigger. "I know this is not normal. I mean...because we are not supposed to date each other. However, since now I have realized that you can actually make me hard, I can't help but think that I may not need Bright anymore. Having you is enough to make me the happiest man alive."

"Seriously? Wow!" Thanit became speechless all of sudden. He didn't know what to respond. How should he respond because it never crossed his mind, Man would desire him. "To be honest, I don't even know what to say...I...I mean, wow! You pictured me naked? Have you even seen me naked in real life?"
"Nope. But I do like to see it today." Man decided to move closer to Thanit.
"Man....what are you doing?" Thanit got up in panic mode. He immediately put his palms on Man's chest to stop him from advancing.
"Doing what I should have done since I've known you." Man retorted calmly.
"Don't, Man...Think about Bright and I have Paing, remember?" Thanit reminded Man again. However, something inside him flickered because of Man's bold attempt.
"Let's forget about them. We have waited enough. It's time to find our own happiness." Man responded. He had thought about everything last night. He came to the decision that he would pursue Thanit because he was tired of waiting. And he was tired of being abandoned by the person he loved. Maybe, just maybe, if he and Thanit were together, they would be happier than they were now.
"Man..." Thanit bit his bottom lip. The strength he put on his palms began to melt, and it gave Man the opportunity to get closer until their faces were only a few centimetres apart.
"I know you are not against this."
"But...I want love, Man."
"I will give you that. I already love you as my best friend. And I am positive I can give you more. More than anyone else, even Paing or Dr. Tae." Man gingerly rubbed his thumb on Thanit's lips. Thanit was shaking, but it stopped when he wrapped his one hand around Thanit's waist and pulled him against his body. "I...want you, Thanit. The whole you. May I?"
