The Right One...

Man walked so fast that he almost bumped into other guests in that hotel. But he could care less. All he wanted to do was getting into that elevator. Then pressed the button to the floor where Bright was staying with Paing. He was hoping it would be just him alone in that elevator, so, he could go straight to that floor, but since he shared the elevator with a number of guests there, he had to patiently wait until the elevator reached the floor he chose to get off after making a few stops according to the number that had been pressed.

Five minutes felt like five years, but Man calmed his heart and endured the torture, waited until the elevator had reached the floor. Even before the door was fully opened, he already dashed out and rushed towards the hotel room where Bright was in while gripping the key card that was given by Paing. And as soon as he came to the door where the number matched the key card, he unlocked the door and entered the hotel room eagerly.

"Bright...." Man said softly when he saw Bright was on the bed, sleeping. Slowly, with a soft smile on his face, he moved towards the bed and sat at the edge, watching Bright quietly until that sleeping man suddenly stirred and opened his eyes.

Bright was startled by what he saw. "Phi Man...How...how did you get in here? Where is Phi Paing? He would kill you if he sees you here."

"He won't." Man smiled. "We made a deal earlier. And even exchanged our key cards, so that, we could clear the air with you guys. Your brother is with Thanit as we speak right now."

"And you are with me." Said Bright, finally understood the whole situation.

"Yes, you got that right. We both need to make things right again, so....here I am."

"But...unlike Phi Paing, you've done nothing wrong to me."

"True...but that depends on the person's interpretation. As for me...I need to confirm what you feel for me." Man said, staring at the man who had a pout on his lips.

"And then what? What will happen if you have confirmed it?" Asked Bright faintly.

"I will act accordingly, depends on the answer I will get from you. So, Bright..., will you speak of the truth and tell it to my face that you do have a crush on me."

"Don't you feel like you are forcing a confession out of me?" Bright retorted instead of giving the ultimate answer.

"Damn! You are torturing me." Man sighed and facepalmed.

"I did what? Torturing you? How did I do that?"

"You're playing innocent. You do know how and what you had done to me." Man responded, staring at the man who liked to play push and pull a lot.

Bright smiled. "Do you like me, Phi? Is that the reason you are so desperate to hear my confession?"

Man sighed as he looked away. "I...I can't answer you."

"Why? Because of the previous heartache? Is it true.....you tried to end your life, Phi? What did your ex-boyfriend do?"

"I rather not talking about it." Man leaned forward, elbows on the knee, with his chin rested on his clasping hands.

Bright silently watched Man from behind for a few minutes before he got up and bravely backhugging that man. "Sorry for making you sad. I didn't mean to remind you of your past. I only wanted to know, so, I know that in the future, I won't make the same mistakes he did that had caused you to live in pain for so long, even though I don't even know what it was."

Man froze on the spot. He was shocked that Bright had rounded his arms around him boldly. And those words Bright said, it made him look over his shoulder instantly, wondering if there was some hidden meaning behind them. "In the future? Are we going to share our future together? Are we going to embark on the same path?"

Bright didn't know how he could be that brave, but once again, he caused another shock to Man when he unhugged the man only to move in front of Man and sat on his lap, before having his arms around Man's neck. "Only if you want me by your side, and if you do think, I'm the right one for you."

Man smiled. "To be honest, I am traumatized by my previous relationship. But I do want to feel love again. However, no one has given me the urge to love until I saw you for the first time, Bright. You....have triggered that feeling which I have buried deeply inside me." He rounded his arms around Bright's waist and pulled him closer. "I'm scared. So, I need assurance from you that you won't hurt me."

Bright smiled softly. Gingerly, he combed Man's hair with his fingers and dropped a peck on Man's forehead. "You have my word. But...."

Man raised his brows.

"If we ever bump into your former boyfriend, let me at lease punch him for hurting you."

Man chortled. "It's okay, Bright. You don't have to seek revenge for me. I have done the same to him."

"You punched him?" Bright gaped at the man who looked rather calmed and collected.

"No. I don't do violence. But I did get my revenge." Man smirked.

"How? What did you do?" Bright asked curiously.

"He came back when I became well known by the public, begging for us to reconcile. But I turned him down and pretended like I didn't even know him. After leaving me on what was supposed to be our wedding day, I had sworn to myself, I would never ever open my heart to him again. I devoted myself for ten years, and if that's what I got in return, did he think I would ever have him walk all over me again? No. Never. He had his chance and he blew it."

"That's my boyfriend indeed."

"Excuse me? What did you say? Boyfriend? Does this mean we are together now? Am I your boyfriend? Is it true? Please tell me it is."

Bright laughed. "Damn! You're cute, Phi." He commented as he stared at the man whom he had crushed on for years without him knowing.

"That's not what I want to hear." Man pouted and it made Bright laugh again.

"Fine....I will say it again, my cute Phi. And yes, from now on, we are together. You are my boyfriend and I am yours. Which means...I have to cancel all my blind dates that has been arranged by Phi Paing."

"Good to know. Because you are mine. The right one for me." Man leaned forward and captured Bright's lips that he dreamt to kiss ever since that first day he met him.
