"Bright!! Wait for me!" Paing panicky chased after Bright, who ran off after he saw him hugging his colleague at the restaurant near the apartment they rented in Singapore. Something about Bright's expression had worried him the most. It had been happening so many times lately, and it was too obvious to hide. It started a few months ago, ever since Bright found out that he wasn't his blood related brother. He didn't mean to hide it from Bright, but it was for the better. He was afraid that Bright would leave him once Bright knew they were not even true siblings. But due to his carelessness, Bright accidentally came across the birth certificates, which showed they didn't come from the same parents.

Bright looked over his left shoulder for a few seconds when he heard the call, but it never slowed him down. He was too angry and jealous. He shouldn't be, but he couldn't help it. He loved his brother so much that he felt like his heart wanted to explode. He would never discover the feeling if the secret between them had never come out. But now he knew the truth, he suddenly realized that all this while, what he felt for Paing was more than just the love of a brother. Paing might not know about it, or pretending that he didn't notice, or maybe, Paing refused to accept his love because of the brothers bond. Or perhaps, it was because of Thanit, the man who Paing had given his heart too.

"Bright! Please stop! We need to talk!" Paing said while he took longer steps to narrow the gap between him and Bright. Yet, he still couldn't match his brother's paces because Bright started to run just to avoid him. "Haish! This kid!" He huffed as he too started to run as well.

Bright swiftly entered the apartment building that they lived in and rushed towards the elevator. Paing was not far behind, but fortunately, it was closed before Paing could stop it. A huff of relief was released once the elevator started to rise up until it reached the floor of their rented apartment. He immediately got out and went straight to their apartment, unlocked the door, then swiftly locked it back before he dashed into his bedroom and locked the door as well to prevent Paing from getting in.

Bright thought he was saved. But he was wrong. Apparently, Paing had a spare key to his bedroom. Before he could even take a breather, there was Paing standing inside the door frame of his bedroom, glaring at him with his raging eyes.

"Where to run now, Bright?" Paing muttered as he walked into the bedroom with short series of breaths.

Bright swallowed nervously. His panicked eyes began to search for the escape route for him to leave that bedroom without getting caught. Somehow, Paing already noticed his intention and quickly grabbed him before he managed to bolt out of the room.

"Oh no, you don't!" Paing quickly shoved Bright on to the bed and hovered on top of him. "You are not going anywhere until you explain to me what is going on with you." He pinned Bright's body underneath him and stared at Bright, who looked like he was about to cry. "Tell me, Bright. Make me understand. You know how much I hate seeing your sad expression."

Bright pursed his lips, wondering if he should speak up or simply show it through his action. He was scared that it might anger Paing, and probably it would make Paing distance himself from him as well. He didn't want to tell Paing his reason, but whatever he did, Paing definitely wouldn't let him go until he got something out of him.

"Bright?"

Bright couldn't make a decision. Instead of giving his answer, he shut his eyes to avoid Paing's eyes. But a few minutes later, it was opened wide again due to Paing's unforeseen action. "Phi...."

"What?" Paing smirked. "Isn't this what you want?"

Bright pouted. "Get off of me, Phi." He commanded.

"No. Because....I have crossed the boundary, and that means I will not refrain anymore." Paing said with a smirk. "But you....are you sure this is what you want? What about Man?"

"What about Phi Thanit?" Bright asked back.

"I always prioritize you before anyone else

"I always prioritize you before anyone else. I don't even want to look for a life partner because of you."

"But you wanted Phi Thanit for your life partner." Bright reminded Paing about his choice.

"Because you wanted Man, and not me." Paing retorted as he smiled a little.

"I had to want someone else because.....I didn't know we....we...." Bright was cut off with a soft kiss on his lips. It's a bit different from the first one.

"I understand." Paing responded after that soft kiss and removed himself from hovering Bright and lied next to that man whom he forced himself to address him as his brother.

"This is your fault, Phi...If only you didn't leave the certificates on the coffee table, I would never know."

"It's a good thing, though. I got to see your reaction."

"Huh? Why do you want to see my reaction?"

"So I get to know if you are interested in me. If you don't, then..you might feel disgusted if I confessed."

Bright was silent for a few minutes before he piped out a question? "So....you are in love with me?" He blinked cutely enough to make Paing chuckled at his cuteness.

"You were just a cute small boy when I took you home. I didn't know that someday, you would bloom into this beautiful man. Do you know how hard it was for me to control myself from taking advantage of you? You have no idea, Bright. Every time you were shirtless, I had to poke myself with anything sharp to stop the arousal. I was bleeding, but fortunately, you believed me when I said..."

"It was the red paint."

Paing beamed. "I have been watching you ever since you found out about us. The jealousy you showed was so obvious. I sensed it, but I was waiting for the right time to talk. But you looked too devastated earlier. I knew it was time for me to face you more honestly. So, here I am, Bright."

"What about..."

"Thanit and Man?"

Bright nodded.

"I don't know about you, but....something happened between me and Thanit that made me lose interest in him. But...if you want to go back to Man..."

"No!" Bright said adamantly. "My place is here next to you."

"I guess...you choose me. However....whether we like it or not, we need to have closure with Thanit and Man."

"Does this mean we're going back to Thailand?"

"Yup! But let's talk about that some other time. Because right now....," Paing smiled as he once again hovered on top of Bright, "....I have a baby that I need to mark, so everyone knows, he's mine."
