Tyler's POV
I'm pissed off! I don't trust that Noah guy in the first place. I punched him once and wished I did more. I activated the lock and went inside my car. I started the engines angrily as I turned the steering wheel going back to the school.
As I headed to the entrance door it opened and out came my team mates. Some of them greeted me by patting me on the back and went by after that. John, Blake and Kevin stayed.
"Dude, what are you doing here?" Blake said as they walked towards me.
"El Presidente is still in the locker room." John added and yeah, we all call him 'El Presidente' except for the freshmen. "He might see you and cause a scene again."
"I'm not here for him." I said. "Wanna grab some bottles of beer?" They looked at each other and then to me. We knew each other since 4th grade. They knew something was wrong but didn't bother to ask anyway and I'm glad they didn't.
"Hell yeah, I'm in!" Kevin blurted out.
So this is how my f*cking night ends, drink until my world spins.
NEXT DAY..............
Wendy's POV
Today isn't better at all.
First, Tyler is absent today that's why I still haven't talked to him. Second, I tried calling his phone but still no one was answering. Third, Noah and I haven't talked to each other since that incident.
During lunch break, I saw his team mates gathered up in the middle of the cafeteria and that gives me another opportunity. I found my feet walking towards them. As I did they greeted me.
"Yo, Wendy! What's up?" I'm not quite sure what his name. John, I think. Almost everyone in the cafeteria turned their heads to us. I looked at the floor for a moment in embarrassment. They aren't the kind of guys who bully others because of popularity. They are just silly at times and when I say that -- I mean most of the times.
When the students already minded their own business, I started to ask "Have you seen Tyler?"
They looked at each other. For a moment there is something suspicious about the way they acted but then Kevin snapped it out. "Have you eaten? Wanna eat with us?" John gave Kevin a slight nudge on the stomach. "Dude!" Kevin said as a response.
"No, it's fine. I don't wanna bother. I just want to ask, do you know where Tyler is? Or have you seen him?"
"Sorry but we haven't" Blake started then gave another nudge to Kevin.
"What's up with you two?!" Kevin said pointing to Blake and John. "Am I your victim today?" then he said. "Yeah. We haven't seen him." still eyeing his two team mates.
"Tyler haven't joined the practice this morning too. We'll update you if we caught a glimpse of him." said John.
"Thanks." was all I could say.
The day went by slow like a turtle. This day didn't gave me any relief until the last bell rang signalling that the last class was over. I headed to my locker with Ali.
I didn't even realize that Ali was talking to me. "I'm just wondering, are you free this Saturday? Coz a friend of mine invited me to this party but I wouldn't want to go unless you were there to."
. . . . . . . .
"Wendy?" she said waving a hand in front of my face.
"Huh?"
