When fear, frustration,
and love collide, someone's bound
to get punched.

˚ ༘♡ 🪷🪕🪞🦢⋆。˚ ❀I was sprawled out on my bed, wearing a tank top and silk pajama pants, with my trusty sleeping mask covering my eyes....the picture of exhaustion and bliss. Last night's reception had drained every ounce of my energy, and I was finally ready to sleep the chaos away. The party, the people, the drama... and let's not forget Adhiraj, who somehow managed to follow me home without attracting a full-on media circus.
It was only a matter of time before the paparazzi caught on. God forbid, the rumors about me and Adhiraj would be all over the place, with Amrita aunt calling me in a panic, imagining my wedding with him in the headlines.
Siya spotted with Adhiraj Singh Rathore! Are wedding bells ringing? Yeah, no thanks. I didn't need that kind of drama in my life. I sighed, snuggling deeper into the sheets, my eyes still hidden behind the blissful darkness of my sleep mask.
All I wanted was peace.
And then my phone rang. The loud, obnoxious sound cut through the silence like a chainsaw, making me groan. 'Ugh, who the hell is calling me at this hour?' I muttered, tossing my sleep mask aside so it hung over my forehead as I squinted at the bright screen.
Hukummmmmm.
Of course.
Adhiraj Singh Rathoreeeeeee!
I rolled my eyes and pressed the "decline" button, throwing the phone back onto the bed as I flopped down with a sigh. Let the man understand that I'm not interested in his morning antics.
But my phone rang again.
And again.
And again.
"NO WAY!"
I groaned loudly, slapping the phone face down on the mattress, silently praying for the calls to stop. The last thing I needed was a morning conversation with Hukum-sa himself. I wasn't emotionally prepared for that kind of chaos.
The ringing stopped, and I sighed in relief. But just as I started to drift back into my precious sleep—
Ping.
My phone buzzed with a message. Groaning, I peeked at the screen through one eye, reading the text.
Adhiraj: If you don't pick up this phone, Siya, I'll be at your doorstep in 10 minutes. You've been warned.
I scoffed, rolling my eyes so hard I thought they might stay there permanently. The audacity of this man. He acted like my boyfriend, like he had a say in when I slept, when I woke up, or when I decided to answer my damn phone. But there was only so much patience I could muster this early in the morning.
