After the lecture, Madhav, Karan, and Aryan walked out of the classroom together. The sun was shining brightly, and the campus was buzzing with students heading to their next classes. Madhav felt a bit lighter now that he had survived the class without any drama.
They reached the parking lot, and Karan unlocked his car. "Hop in, guys," he said casually. Madhav climbed into the back seat, while Aryan took the passenger seat. As they drove off, the conversation flowed easily between Aryan and Karan, discussing the latest sports match and their weekend plans.
Madhav sat quietly for a moment, listening to their banter, feeling grateful that Karan seemed to have forgotten about any tension from earlier. The car ride was filled with laughter and jokes, and Madhav couldn't help but smile. It felt good to be part of the group, even if he still felt a bit nervous around Karan.
As they approached a traffic light, Karan suddenly turned to Madhav. "Baccha you did well in class today. Keep it up!" Madhav's heart skipped a beat. He hadn’t expected that compliment. "Thanks, bhai," he replied, feeling a mix of surprise and relief. The rest of the ride continued with a lighthearted vibe, and for the first time, Madhav felt like he was truly part of the crew.
As they drove through the bustling campus, Aryan turned to Karan and said, "Bhai, what do you think about grabbing a coffee after this? I could really use a pick-me-up." Karan nodded with a grin, "Sounds perfect! Madhav, you coming along?"
Madhav felt a surge of excitement. "Yeah, sure! I’d love to join," he replied, feeling grateful for the invitation.
When they arrived at the café, the atmosphere was warm and inviting, with the rich smell of coffee wafting through the air. They found a cozy corner table, and as they settled in, Aryan began sharing amusing anecdotes from his lectures, making both Karan and Madhav chuckle.
Madhav felt a sense of belonging wash over him. Karan leaned back and said, "You know, having you around makes this university life so much more enjoyable." Madhav smiled, feeling appreciated.
The afternoon passed quickly as they discussed everything from academic challenges to their favorite movies. For Madhav, these moments felt special, a reminder that he wasn’t just a student but part of a close-knit family. As they laughed together, he realized how lucky he was to have two supportive brothers guiding him through his university journey.
The next day, Sakshi returned home, tired but happy from her trip. As she walked in, she noticed that the house was in complete chaos. Karan was away at university for lectures, but Aryan and Madhav were busy creating a mess in the kitchen.
When Sakshi entered, she saw that Aryan had spilled flour everywhere, and Madhav had somehow managed to turn the vegetables into a complete disaster. Both of them were laughing and joking with each other.
Sakshi said, "What’s going on here? What is this mess?"
Aryan grinned and replied, "We’re trying to cook, but it seems like we’ve gone a bit overboard!"
Madhav added, "Yeah, this kitchen has turned into a disaster zone!"
Sakshi tried to hold back her laughter, realizing how funny their antics were. "Alright, I’ll help you out. But first, you need to clean up this mess!"
Suddenly, as Madhav and Aryan were busy laughing and cleaning up, they looked up and realized they hadn’t noticed Sakshi had come back. Their eyes widened in surprise, and without a moment's hesitation, they rushed over to her and hugged her tightly.
“Mama! You’re back!” Madhav exclaimed, his face lighting up with joy.
Aryan added, “We missed you so much! We were just trying to make something special for you.”
Sakshi smiled warmly, feeling the love from her boys. “I missed you too! But it looks like you’ve made quite the mess here! Let's clean it then we can talk and karan will be back till then ” she said, chuckling.
The three of them shared a moment of laughter, and it felt like home again, despite the chaos in the kitchen.
