After they left the hall, Karan said, “Let’s go to your room, baccha . I’ll help you with that ointment.” Aryan nodded, feeling grateful for the support as they made their way to his room.
Once inside, Karan found the ointment in Aryan’s drawer. “Alright, drop your pants a bit so I can apply this,” he said, trying to keep things light despite the awkwardness. Aryan hesitated for a moment but then complied.
Karan squeezed some ointment onto his fingers and gently applied it to Aryan’s sore spots. “This might sting a little,” he warned, being as gentle as he could. Aryan winced but appreciated Karan’s care.
“Thanks, bhaiya and sorry I didn’t think we’d end up like this,” Aryan said with a small laugh, despite the discomfort. Karan smiled back, relieved to see Aryan in a better mood. “Yeah, next time don't repeat ” Aryan nodded in agreement, knowing they both learned a valuable lesson that day.
As Karan finished applying the ointment, Aryan couldn’t help but chuckle. “You know, this whole thing was kind of funny,” he joked, a mischievous glint in his eye.
Karan raised an eyebrow, not fully convinced. “Funny, huh? Just remember, you just got punished for a reason,” he said, smirking. To emphasize his point, he playfully smacked Aryan’s butt, making him jump slightly. “If you keep up the same stuff, you might just get another reminder, trust me!”
Aryan smirked and said, “Well, since you helped me, how about I apply some ointment on you too? You know, just to return the favor!” Karan raised an eyebrow, surprised but amused. “Oh really? You think you can handle it?” he teased.
“Come on, it’s not that hard!” Aryan replied, grabbing the ointment. Karan shrugged, “Alright, just be careful!” Aryan squeezed some ointment onto his fingers and started applying it to Karan’s sore spots, both of them laughing as they enjoyed the moment not the punishment but the after talk with each other
Karan pulled Aryan into a warm hug, both of them feeling the comfort of their friendship. “Thanks for that,” Karan said with a smile. “I really needed it.” They settled down together, feeling relaxed after the playful banter.
Meanwhile, in the kitchen, Sakshi was busy making a variety of dishes for Karan and Aryan. She had just punished her kids, so she wanted to make sure the boys had a delicious meal to enjoy. The aroma of her cooking filled the house, creating a cozy atmosphere as Karan and Aryan drifted off to sleep, looking forward to the feast that awaited them.
Sakshi couldn’t help but chuckle to herself as she thought about Karan and Aryan. “After those hits, there’s no way they’ll want to sit on chairs,” she mused. So, she decided to set up lunch on the couch for them, making it more comfortable.
Meanwhile, Madhav was in timeout for failing a simple oral exam that Sakshi had conducted at the university. She felt a bit bad for him but knew that discipline was necessary. As she prepared the dishes, she hoped that Karan and Aryan would enjoy their cozy lunch and that Madhav would learn from his mistake.
Sakshi glanced over at Madhav, who was still sulking in the corner. She knew that if Karan found out about Madhav failing that simple oral test, he might end up in the same position as Aryan just hours ago. To prevent any potential chaos, she decided to take matters into her own hands.
“Alright, Madhav!” she called out suddenly, her voice firm. “Hold your ears and give them a tight grip!” Madhav looked up, surprised, but he knew better than to argue. He complied, gripping his ears tightly. Sakshi pulled gently, making sure he felt the pressure but not causing any harm. “This is a reminder to take your studies seriously!” she said, her tone a mix of sternness and care. Madhav nodded, understanding that this was all part of learning and discipline.
Time skip
After 45 minutes of timeout, Sakshi finally decided it was time for Madhav to sit down. “Alright, Madhav, you can come and join us now,” she said, her voice softer. Madhav, relieved, got up and made his way to the couch where Karan and Aryan were just waking up from their nap, the delicious aroma of lunch wafting through the air.
As he settled down, he could see the spread of dishes Sakshi had prepared. “I’m sorry for failing the test,” he said sheepishly. Karan and Aryan exchanged glances, knowing they had all been in similar situations. “Let’s just enjoy this amazing lunch,” Aryan said, trying to lighten the mood. They all dug in, grateful for the food and the moment together, leaving the earlier tensions behind.
And just like that, their day came to an end. After sharing lunch and some laughter on the couch, the tension that had lingered earlier began to fade away. They talked about their classes, joked about their mishaps, and made plans for the weekend.
As the sun began to set, casting a warm glow in the room, Sakshi felt satisfied. She knew that despite the challenges they faced, they had a strong bond that would help them get through anything. With full bellies and lighter hearts, they wrapped up the day, ready to tackle whatever came next.
