Karan walked up to Sakshi's house, his mood still simmering with frustration. He had decided to bring Maya along, but he hadn’t mentioned it to anyone. As they approached the door, he turned to Maya and said, "Just so you know, I’m not really in the mood to talk to Aryan or Madhav right now."

Maya nodded, sensing the tension. Karan knocked on the door, and it swung open to reveal Sakshi, her face lighting up with surprise. "Karan! I wasn’t expecting you! And who’s this?" she asked, glancing at Maya.

Karan forced a smile. "This is Maya, a friend from the university," he introduced, trying to keep his tone neutral.

"Nice to meet you, Aunty," Maya said, stepping forward with a warm smile.

Sakshi welcomed them inside, her excitement still evident. "Come in, come in! Dinner is almost ready. I hope you're both hungry!"

As they entered the living room, Karan noticed Aryan lounging on the couch, and Madhav was nearby, his head buried in a textbook. Karan shot them both a glare, feeling the anger bubbling inside him. He took a deep breath, trying to keep his cool.

Sakshi noticed the tension but chose to ignore it for now. "Karan, why don’t you help me set the table?" she suggested, hoping to distract him.

Karan nodded, grateful for the opportunity to avoid Aryan and Madhav for a bit longer. As he moved to the kitchen with Sakshi, he could feel Maya's curious gaze on him, but he remained focused on the task at hand, trying to shake off the frustration that lingered from earlier.

The table was beautifully set up, with elegant plates and sparkling cutlery arranged perfectly. Sakshi noticed Karan standing there, looking a bit lost in thought. She smiled and asked, "Karan, why is Maya here? I didn’t expect to see her."

Karan took a deep breath, feeling a mix of nerves and determination. He glanced at Maya, who was chatting with someone nearby, then turned back to Sakshi. "Well, actually, I wanted to talk to you about something," he said, his heart racing. "I love Maya. I’ve had feelings for her for a while now."

Sakshi raised her eyebrows in surprise but then smiled knowingly. "That’s wonderful, Karan! Have you told her how you feel?"

Karan nodded " she also do "

Karan took a deep breath and mustered up the courage to share his feelings with Sakshi. "I... I proposed to her," he confessed, his voice filled with a mix of nervousness and excitement.

Sakshi's eyes widened in surprise, her expression a mix of astonishment and delight. "Oh, that's wonderful, Karan! I'm so happy for you. How did Maya react?" she inquired, eager to hear more about the romantic gesture.

Karan smiled, recalling the moment. "I was really nervous, but I just went for it. I told her how much she means to me and how I can’t imagine my life without her. To my surprise, she said yes! I couldn’t believe it."

Sakshi beamed at him. "That’s amazing! You must be over the moon right now. How are you feeling about it all?"

Karan chuckled, a mix of joy and disbelief in his voice. "Honestly, I’m still processing it. It's like a dream come true, but I also want to make sure I do everything right moving forward."

Karan looked at Sakshi, his expression serious. "You know, I really wanted to share this with you first because you’re someone I trust. I would love to share every moment with Aryan and Madhav too, but sometimes Aryan does these stupid things that make it hard. Right now, I really need to talk to them about what happened and how it .......ahh about  everything."

Sakshi nodded, understanding the weight of his words. "I get it, Karan. It’s important to have those conversations. Just make sure you express how you feel and what you want from them moving forward."
