I missed Tyler. It had been 2 weeks since I'd seen his brown eyes and I longed to see them again. Since the day that we met I hadn't stopped thinking about him. It was weird. I never thought I was gay but there was something different about Tyler. Something that I liked.
I walked out of the stock room. It was Sunday again and the weather was gloomy, just like always in Ohio. Just as I stepped back into the store I saw the shadow of someone about to leave, I'd know that shadow anywhere, so I did the first thing that came to mind and I called out

'Tyler!'

The person turned around and sure enough I was met with big brown eyes, the eyes that I had longed to see for 2 weeks.

'Tyler' I said again, this time it came out as more of a whisper, a reassurance to myself that it was him and that I wasn't hallucinating.

'Hi' was all he said, but that was all I needed. For some reason I walked up to him and pulled him into a hug. Don't ask me why, i know we'd only met once before, it just felt appropriate.

'Hi' I replied and I felt him hug me back. We stayed like that for a moment until I pulled away

'I've been going crazy worrying about you, you know?' I told him

'Why? You don't even know me'

'I know your name is Tyler and that you like the same kind of music as me and that you're a little bit broken, but that's okay'

He looked at me, a surprised expression on his face.

I sighed 'yes I saw your arm Tyler, but that doesn't change my feelings towards you' Crap, I hadn't meant for it to come out like that

'Your feelings?' He asked, confused

'Uh, yeah. You're a nice person. I think we could become good friends'

'Oh. Yeah, cool. I'm sorry about running out the other day, I was just scared that you'd hate me'

'I could never'

'Okay'. He shuffled his feet and bit his lip slightly and I realised how beautiful he was.

'Listen, I get off work in about an hour, hang around and we'll go grab dinner after? How about Taco Bell?' I asked

'Sounds good' he smiled, and I swear the whole room lit up when he did.
