I tried to ignore Luke throughout the whole day, but he was in all of my classes so it was pretty hard. He looked so different from when I saw him last, he was so attractive that it wasn't even funny. It's making it really hard to hate him when he just looks so innocent and cute.

I wandered around after school, there was no doubt that Calum and Ashton were looking for me somewhere. I didn't feel like talking to them about it just yet because i know what they'll say. They'll probably just pity me and go beat up Luke or something like that.

"Hey, sorry are you Aria Layla?" I turn around to see a guy around my age, in fact i think i've seen him around before. He had black hair with coloured streaks. I think last time I saw him he had fairy floss hair, which I thought was pretty cool.

"Uh, yeah." I mumble, not really in the mood for talking.

"Ok good. I'm Luke's friend Michael. Luke was just wondering if you wanted to come over to his tonight, I think he wants to talk to you about something." He fidgeted.

"Well you can tell him that I declined. Sorry." I politely smile and turn to walk away but a hand grabs my arm and restrains me from moving any further.

"Please? Luke's been acting so weird ever since he came back, he just kind of enters his own world. I think something's wrong with him. He won't tell me, his own best friend, what's wrong but he might just tell you." He begged.

I stare at the boy in front of my for a while before agreeing. "Okay, I'll come. Does he still live in Hemmingway Lane?"

"Yeah. I'm Michael Clifford by the way." He nods and I smile. "I'm-"

"Aria Layla, I know. I've heard so much about you." He chuckles, making me intrigued.

"Really?"

"Yeah, Luke doesn't stop talking about you." He paused. "I'm pretty sure I wasn't supposed to tell you that." He shrugged. "Oh well, I'll tell Luke that you said you'd come over, see ya."
He waved.

I waved back and started walking back to the front of the school where the gates to get out were. Just as I suspected Calum and Ashton were waiting for me.

"Hey, where were you?" Ashton jogged over to me.

"Talking to this guy called Michael, he wants me to go over to Lukes or something." I shrugged.

"Hey listen, about Luke, I.." Ashton started but I cut him off.

"Don't worry, like I said to Cal this morning, it was two years ago, I was 15 and I didn't know what I was doing." I chuckled.

He nodded and we walked out the gates and headed our separate ways after saying goodbye.

I started walking to Luke's house (which wasn't too far away from my high school).

When I reached the door, a sudden wave of memories hit me. The last time I stood at this door I had quite a heartbreak.

I knocked and shortly after Mrs Hemmings, or Liz, opened the door. She just stared at me for a while and then pulled me into the biggest hug ever. My lungs felt like they were about to explode but I just smiled.

"Aria darling! How have you been? I haven't seen you in years! She squeaked. "You're so tall and pretty! And your hair.. It's blue!" She laughed and so did I.

I felt a bit awkward but I still managed to smile and make small talk with her until she let me through the door.

"Luke is up in the lounge room if you wanted to see him, he's with Michael. You may have met him before I don't know."

I smiled and walked upstairs, getting ready to face Luke again. They were sitting playing the Xbox on the couch in the living room.

"Uh, hey Luke." I awkwardly coughed. But Michael was the one to turn around first. "Oh and Michael."

"Hey." They both said.

"Aria, I haven't seen you in so long, how have you been?" Luke tried to start a conversation.

"Great actually, since I met Calum and Ashton."

Luke looked at me weirdly, was that jealously? I don't know but it sure looked like it.

"Aren't they those punk rock weirdos who are kinda popular for some reason?" Luke snorted and I glared at him. "So now your just going to throw insults at my friends?"

"No, sorry, it came out wron-"

"Luke what has gotten into you lately?" Michael interrupted. Luke shot him a glare and sat back down.

"Anyway, why did you want me to come here in the first place?" I asked Luke.

"I wanted to see how you were.. Hey! Your hair is blue!" Luke exclaimed, I laughed at him. He's still the same oblivious child that he was 2 years ago.

"I had blue hair last year for a while." Michael spoke up.

"Michael, you change your hair colour every three days practically.." Luke chuckled.

"No I don't!! If I did I would be bald by now."

"Well if you keep dying your hair then you will be bald pretty soon."

I laughed at their childish behaviour, they reminded me of cal and ash.

"Anyway.. Michael and I were going to this gaming place later tonight and if you wanted to come, than you could bring your friends if you want too?" Luke asked.

I'm not too sure that having Calum and Luke under the same roof was a good idea. They hated each other for some reason. Well I don't know about Luke, but Calum has this but if hatred for him.

"Uh.. Sure. I'll call them now." I replied.
