But hearing that question, Arranya felt blank and numb.

Relationship? Boyfriend?

No wait- did this come with the platter of confession and kiss? For free?

She gazed up at him as the moonlight from the window in front of them came directly at their faces, lightening them up to a certain level where they could figure out each other's features and expressions clearly.

And Aviral went like he did a mistake by asking that question when he saw that serious face of hers.

"No I mean- if you don't want that's also fine-" he tried to convince that he was fine even without the tag of any relationship but she cut him off.

"Really you're okay with that?" She questioned, quieting him down for a moment.

He looked in her eyes for moment whilst thinking if she was really okay or not.

"Of course," but he faked a laugh instead. "I'm okay with everything as long as you're okay with it," he chuckled to play cool but he forgot that she's still the same Arranya who was clever in reading faces of people since the start.

That's different that she forgot about her superpowers for sometime because of her heartbreak she was going through that time but now since she's back... He should have been careful.

"Oh? Since when you started stuttering, Aviral Kaushik?" Ari playfully asked, looking up at him from his shoulder as he gazed away from her in embarassment after realising he did stammer unknowingly.

"No- I mean- I'm just really asking if you wanna take your tim-" he tried to explain himself again with a chuckle but she intervened by pointing a finger at him from below.

"Dare you don't introduce me as your girlfriend to other girls around you," she dangerously stated at the boy who was stunned to see her new personality.

"I'll kill you myself," Ari threatened but she smiled after a few seconds as she couldn't suppress her laughter seeing his terrified face.

Arranya bursted out cackling on Aviral's chest as she scared him for a minute that he couldn't even understand what she said in the initial few seconds, because he was so attentive of her expressions that he forgot to kick start his brain.

But as he discerned her words, he exhaled in relief, attaching his cheek with her head as he smiled with her.

"Oh god," Avi exclaimed, scooting her closer to himself without detaching his cheek with her head. "You nearly gave me a death shot,"

Avi laughed at his own stupidity, circling his other free arm around her back to cover her entirely and closely to himself so he can feel her presence even lively.

"Chal ree, itni jaldi nahi marega re tu," Arranya uttered like a dialogue from a Hindi movie but in a Mumbai dialect, making both of them laugh at her acting.

"Uff, what a day it was," Aviral sighed.

Their smiles were everlasting today and their hearts? They felt like they didn't even need one anymore as it wasn't even beating from the last 2 hours since they've confessed to each other about their stifled feelings from years.

"I know right," Ari smiled from his chest.

She has never been in this position before. Like the girl she used to be, overjoyed and fun-loving, she never expected to have a passionate love life ever for herself, but now when she has someone who proved that she's worth everything, she feels just so out of this world.
