After some time of preparing, Nahida finally completed a device for the upcoming battle with some help from Y/n. Although Y/n was confused on the purpose on creating the device.

He didn't ask any question despite his curiosity. After all, this is extremely important than some questions that can be answered later. Y/n send a message to the Traveler to notify them that they're ready.

While waiting, Nahida spoke up.

Nahida: Judging from your expression just now, it seems that you have a lot of question you wanted to ask me, Y/n.

Y/n: Indeed, I do. But I do not think it's the correct time to ask some trivial question. Although my question is about the device you have just created. I assume that you'll explain once the Traveler arrives.

Nahida: It's alright. Even though you're not a scholar, you're still learning. Just like everyone else in this world. 

Nahida: While waiting for the Traveler to arrive, I'm curious about you. You're able to obtain three out of the seven elements. 

Nahida: I can sense the large amount of elemental energy around you too. It's certainly interesting and there's no doubt about it. Your strength alone might be on par with that of a god with more training.

Y/n: Is that so...? *Whisper* It's not my intention to attract more unwanted attention...

Nahida: Hm? Did you say something?

Y/n: It's nothing important. I'm just a normal human being that was caught up with the divine. 

Nahida: Caught up with the divine? What do you mean by that?

Y/n then explain what himself and the others had learned back in the desert about the Forbidden Knowledge.

Nahida: I see. Thanks for telling me this, Y/n.

Not long after, the Traveler and Paimon finally arrives.

Paimon: How's it going, Nahida?

Nahida: I'm done with the parts that needed my involvement to complete. Although it's my first time working with the Akasha like this, its internal structure and operation procedures are easy for me to understand.

Nahida: Greater Lord Rukkhadevata's design is truly brilliant.

Y/n: Agreed. 

Traveler: You haven't left at all?

Y/n: Indeed, after all it's a once in a life chance to learn more. 

Paimon: You're not hiding your excitement at all, aren't you?

Nahida: Oh, also, this is for you.

Paimon: *sigh* All the things that make Paimon special got copied... When Paimon appears with the Traveler from now on, people won't remember Paimon because she isn't unique anymore...

Traveler: Are you actually upset...? 

Nahida: It's alright, Paimon. It can't replace you. It's only a flying device, but you're Traveler's irreplaceable friend.

Paimon: Waah, you're so good at comforting people, Nahida. If only Traveler was as smart as you...
