I look my hands on my lap, they are trembling. The pain, the suffer-everything slowly stepping back. As if I am still stuck there. Please be safe-please be safe. I so badly want everything to be a lie, to be a prank but I know it isn't.
The voice from inside, the message says it all. We got married yesterday, it's not even 24 hours yet. He promised me...he promised he'll be by my side forever.
"Ma'am, we have reached." The cab driver said and I lift my head looking around and checking the area. I paid him and quickly rushed not bothering about the extra money.
Pushing the iron door open, I walked inside welcomed by an unpleasant silent that makes me gulp. Usually Father's men would be standing all over the property.
I rushed inside, following the pavement pathway that leads to the bunglow. Will they be fine? Please be fine, Krunal. Please. I breathe heavily, my feet trembling as I curl my hand around the handle pushing the door.
A darkness covered the house, my shadow falling on the white tile as light steps inside along with me. "Krunal!" I yell only to hear my voice back.
If they hurt him, I'll kill them.
"Krunal!" I yell again walking ahead when I stepped into a puddle. A puddle in the house? My eyes narrowed but I could see clearly and just then suddenly the lights turn on eating up the darkness that was giving me company.
I gasped, covering my mouth with my hand as I stepped back. There's a puddle of blood and the more I step back- it leaves foot prints behind. Adrenaline rushed through my spine and I gasped for Air.
Blood. Is it h-his blood?
Did they kill my husband?
Everything blurs in front of me. "N-no," I lift my eyes, looking around searching for my people but there's no sign of a human. Just when I was about to take a step forward something cold touched the back of my neck and a cold voice reached my ears.
