They say never look into the eyes of evil spirits, they are blessed with enough powers to control you, but when I looked into Aditi Raghuvanshi’s eyes, I couldn't take my eyes off—not because they were worth capturing my attention but because I saw something familiar hiding behind her dark eyes.
The innocent demon.
They say she's a sunshine but they all are wrong, they don't know her yet. Aditi is empty, dark like the night of no moon. One might feel she’s bubbly but rather she is a threat. She’s the darkness that feasts on humanity.
Her darkness blends so fine with my shadow that she herself can't notice the shadow hiding with a dragger pointed at her. She thinks Krunal is here to protect her but she has no idea Krunal is just a perfect deception created by me and I”ll take this chance to mould her into my perfect target.
Everyday she’ll realise the mistake she shouldn't have committed, that the last thing she could have done in her life was to betray me. She put a dragger in my chest while I choked on my blood but I’ll make sure when I kill her—I’ll kill every bit of her soul and she’ll beg for her breath. Aditi Raghuvanshi will be nothing more than a fragile demon in my hell.
A demon that will bow down to me.
I tuck my hands into the pocket of my pants, my eyes pinned to the woman in front of me as colour loses her face. She looked at Abhay or whatever the rooster’s name is as if she encountered an evil spirit.
The fear in her brown eyes is visible even in the darkness, I can't miss how her nails are digging into her palm with an intensity to draw blood.
A long time ago, I was scared of demons too. I believed they were the most cruel part of survival but then I realized that to conquer them—I need to make them my slave and not be a slave. I made each of them bow to me no matter if I had to break their legs or hang their head.
And for that I needed power—the power that wasn't given to me but rather I own it. Abhay takes a step forward and Aditi flinches, stepping back before she uncurls her hands and slowly lifts her eyes looking at him.
For a moment, my eyes slid to his right hand—the same which touched her.
“What are you doing here?” Aditi asked him, her voice might sound strong but there's a hint of terror in it exactly like in the past. I pulled out a cigarette, putting it in between my lips and lit it up.
“I can ask you the same? What the hell are you doing here?” No, he fucking can't. He has no—literally no rights on my enemy and no matter what, I don't like when someone even thinks about the thing I set my hands on, unfortunately this little motherfucker touched her. So much unnecessary interest.
