Carissa

Carissa's first day off was a welcome change of pace, and she decided to make it meaningful by helping Theodore at the church. Before heading out, she focused on getting her two darling daughters, Mia and Baby Camryn, ready for the day.

She started with Baby Camryn, changing her into a cute, comfy outfit and ensuring she had everything she needed for the day. "Let's get you all set, my little sunshine," Carissa said, smiling as she secured Camryn's tiny shoes and adjusted her bow.

Next, she turned her attention to Mia, who was already buzzing with excitement about spending the day at the church. "Are you ready for a fun day, Mia?" Carissa asked, helping her pick out a stylish yet comfortable outfit.

"Absolutely, Mom! I love helping out at the church," Mia replied, her eyes sparkling with enthusiasm.

With both girls ready, Carissa made sure they had snacks, drinks, and anything else they might need. She packed a bag with essentials, feeling prepared for whatever the day might bring.

Arriving at the church, they were greeted by Theodore, who was delighted to see his family. "Hey, my beautiful girls!" he called out, giving Carissa a loving hug and a kiss.

"We're here to help, Theodore," Carissa said, smiling. "What do you need us to do?"

Theodore appreciated Carissa's support and began assigning tasks. Mia eagerly joined a group of kids preparing decorations for an upcoming event, while Baby Camryn happily played with some toys in a safe corner.

Carissa and Theodore worked side by side, organizing supplies, setting up for the service, and ensuring everything was in order. Throughout the day, they shared moments of laughter and teamwork, deepening their bond.

As they worked, Carissa felt a deep sense of fulfillment. The church had always been an important part of their lives, and being able to contribute together as a family made the experience even more special.

By the end of the day, the church looked beautiful and ready for the upcoming services and events. Carissa and Theodore gathered their girls, feeling a sense of accomplishment and joy.

"Thank you for all your help today, Carissa," Theodore said, holding her hand. "I couldn't have done it without you."

"We make a great team," Carissa replied, smiling warmly.

As they headed home, Carissa felt grateful for the day spent together, knowing that their love and teamwork would carry them through any challenge.

The Next Evening

The next evening, Carissa and Theodore arrived at the church for their final counseling session with Bishop Thaddeus. This session marked the culmination of their journey in preparation for their wedding, and they felt a mix of excitement and gratitude.

Bishop Thaddeus welcomed them with his usual warmth. "Good evening, Carissa and Theodore. It's hard to believe this is our final session before your big day."

"We're ready, Bishop," Carissa said, her voice filled with anticipation.

"Yes, we're excited and grateful for all the guidance you've given us," Theodore added.

Bishop Thaddeus smiled and began the session by reflecting on their journey together. "Throughout these sessions, we've covered many important aspects of marriage—communication, teamwork, conflict resolution, and more. Today, I want to focus on the foundation of your relationship: love and commitment."
