Chapter #13 (Dinner)

You now find yourself making dinner for Naomi and your parents while they all wait at the table. But while you were busy, your mom decided to check up on you.

Mom: Hey sweetie, do you need some help with that?

Y/N: Nah. I got this all by myself, mom.

Mom: You sure? I can help you with that.

Y/N: It's fine, I don't want to tire you out.

Mom: (Chuckles) Oh my, you still always put us over you...

She then leaned her back on the counter as she crossed her arms.

Mom: Y/N, honey. Can I say something to you?

Y/N: Shoot.

Mom: Look, I know I've asked this several times now but... are you certain about having Naomi back to your life after what she had done to you? I mean, it's pretty obvious someone like her doesn't deserve a person like you after she threw away everything you both had.

You just stood there silently as you contemplate her question.

Y/N: (Sighs) I'm certain of it. Normally, I wouldn't let her back if she was the girl who treated me like a dog on that night but...

Mom: Let me guess, she came back as the same girl you knew, just guilty as charged?

Y/N: Yeah, she told me that she's willing to go great lengths to make up for everything what she did and how she treated me back then... even going on turning herself in as soon as she came back here to Korea.

Mom: (Surprised) She did what?

Y/N: Remember how you and Dad told me that what she did is considered a crime and we all filed a report on the police but went nowhere? Well Naomi turned herself in and surrendered herself as soon as she heard about the case on her.

Mom: B-But why is she here with you then?

Y/N: She was released early for good behaviour and doing a lot of community services. Told me that it was hellish there but she did deserved it.

Mom: And what's this I heard about her removing her tattoos?

Y/N: Oh she did removed her tattoos, all four of them.

Mom: Oh... I guess she's really determined on making amends with you... But that still doesn't changed the fact that she's a good-for-nothing cheating, slutty whore who treated you inhumanely when you confronted her that day. Me and your father will keep and eye on her for now but should anything happen, we will have to step in. Got it?

Y/N: (Sighs) Yes, Mom.

Mom: (Smiles) We're only worried for you, okay? We just want you to be happy again.

She then kissed you on the cheek as she heads back to the table while you continue making dinner for them. Speaking on the table...

Dad: Listen, Naomi. I do not know what gave you the right mind to treat my son like a fucking dog but you better not mess up this chance. The reason why he gave you a chance in the first place is his kind-heartedness and his own stupidity. It may sounds ridiculous but me and my wife loved him for that. You hurt a genuine person and if you try that again on Y/N, don't expect mercy from us. Are we clear?
