Mob Arachna !

Part 1 ; Chapter 4: Glowing lances

It had been 3 days since the attack on Brooklyn,  everyone was forced to stay inside to avoid being attacked by the creatures that had wreaked havoc not even a week ago. The military were Roaming the streets of the city 24/7 to try and kill the remaining lurkers hiding in the shadows , but their efforts were in vain as even after finding one ; the bullets were ineffective and they were simply driven further in the shadows. 

While all of this was happening , a boy named Ellie was getting frustrated from being forced inside 

"SHIT !" He kicked the wall in frustration , his brown eyes filled with rage "THIS WEEK.. FUCKING SUCKS!" he banged his head against the wall , his black forehead started to bleed , he stopped and calmed down , sitting on his bed and letting out a long sigh while placing his hand on his wound , moving his dreads out of the way 

"First i get into a detention because of that asshole , then the city gets overrun by demons and now i can't even go to the trip i spent months planning." he stayed still on his bed until his phone rang out of the blue. "What now..." he stood up from his bed and grabbed the phone from his desk , glancing at it for a second before picking up the call.

"What do you want Luke. "

"Yo bro you good?" a voice asked on the other line

"Do i SOUND like i'm good?" Ellie barked back

"HEY DONT YELL AT ME LIKE ITS MY FAULT."

Ellie sighed "Sorry.. i'm just not in a good mood"

"Its fine ,  i got some news that'll cheer you up though"  The boy on the other line spoke with a cheerful voice

Ellie looked at the window "huh?" , at that exact time a purple flash flew right in front of it "WHAT ?? WHAT WAS THAT ?? LUKE WHAT DID YOU JUST DO"

"Huh? what was what? i didn't even tell you anything yet.." Luke seemed slightly concerned

"I-" Ellie shook his head "okay what did you wanna tell me" he shrugged off what he had just seen

"We decided we were gonna leave town !" Luke said happily 

"HUH?? BUT HOW ? THERE'S THE MILITARY EVERYWHERE DUMBASS.." 

"They're too busy chasing after the demons to care about some kids running off ! This camping trip is gonna be awesome trust me dude"

Ellie was hesitant but finally yielded "Alright bet , lets do this then"

"We'll meet you in front of your apartment building at 3pm , be ready!"

"Okay !"

Meanwhile..

Hendrix sidestepped from the punch , and threw another one in his opponent's ribs, the hit landed and the black figure which stumbled backwards 

"I'm starting to get the hang of it." Hendrix wiped lips with the back of his hand , still keeping his guard up. He was in a field of flowers and in the sky was 4 moons of different sizes , clumped together and shining in a beautiful shade of blue. 

The figure in front of him was completely dark , it looked like a human without hair or ears , its eyes were simply two red dots the size of golf balls that glowed a fierce red

"Resume." Hendrix commanded. The figure rushed back in , this time it hit a perfect knee to the gut which made the boy grunt. Electricity started to crackle all around Hendrix as he gained back his footing "This nexus stuff is easier than it looks" he clenches his fist harder and the red lightning focused on it 

With another grunt , Hendrix hurled an overhand with his fist of lightning straight at the creature's head , it stepped back and grabbed the boy's arm , twisting it and kicking him in the back of the knee , making him drop on one knee
