Hey everyone,
This is not a chapter update, I'm afraid. However, I assure you that I haven't abandoned this project. In fact, I didn't expect to become so attached to this random project I started for ONC this year, nor did I foresee how much Will would come to mean to me.
As I've been working on this offline, I realized so much potential in this little story that I even dream about it as a beautiful paperback or ebook someday—if the stars align. Fingers crossed!
Right now, I'm in the process of transitioning it from a novella into a complete novel. New ideas emerge as I write, and naturally, I made changes to initially drafted chapters, which I believe (and hope) will make for a wonderful experience for lovers of bildungsroman and character-driven fiction.
I can't say exactly when this book will be completed, but I'd love for you to join me on this journey. I plan to be more active on Instagram, where I hope to share excerpts and other writing-related things. I also post book reviews there, so if that interests you, follow me at @maddyalson. For now, these first-draft three chapters are here; the extended/improved version may or may not make it to Wattpad. Only time will tell.
