"Oh, there's Johnnie." You nudge your friend, "I'm going to go talk to him."
You walk away, slowly walking up to Johnnie, "Hey." You smile as you lean against the wall, "You're coming to my party tomorrow night right?"
"Oh shit." He tilts his head, "That's tomorrow?"
You nod, "Um, yeah. Tomorrow. It's literally the day I've been planning for weeks now."
He smirks, bringing his drink up to his lips and taking a sip, "I know, how could I forget?"
"You're messing with me aren't you?" You squint and he nods, "I am."
"Fuck off, Johnnie." You laugh, reaching out to gently push his arm. He laughs, leaning up against the wall, "Who's all going to be there?"
You almost forgot to answer the question because you were too busy watching his eyes move down from yours to your cleavage, "Oh, um. Everyone, I guess."
"Didn't know you knew a lot of people." Johnnie jokes and you roll your eyes, "Mhm. Sure." You go to walk away and he grabs your arm, "Where ya goin'?"
"I need more to drink." You finish the last little bit in your cup and Johnnie takes it, "I'll get it."
"Thank you." You smile and look from him to your friend as he walks away and she walks up, "Any progress?"
You shake your head, "I mean, I caught him staring at my boobs, so. That's something, right?"
"Why doesn't he just accept the fact that he-"
You clear your throat and she quickly changes up her story, "That he is one of the best artists out there. Speaking of the devil, here he is. Hi Johnnie."
"Hey." He nods as he hands you back your cup, "So what were you really talking about?"
"Nothing." You and your friend say in unison. You laugh, "Um, we were just talking about when we think you'll be dripping your new song."
"Yeah how come we don't know when that is." She asks and he shrugs, smiling, "I like to keep things a mystery."
"Clearly." She raises her brows with a sigh, "I think it's time for me to head out."
"This early?" Johnnie asks and she nods, "Gotta get up early and start preparing. I'm taking y/n out to breakfast, then lunch, and then dinner before her big birthday bash. You are coming to that right?"
