His Foreign Love

"Jahan nahi bhi khilne hote phool wahan bhi khilte hain,
Sahi log aksar galat waqt pe milte hain..."

Uday and Jessica landed in India along with Mr. Singh and Emilie. The four of them travelled in business class and landed at Mumbai's biggest and lavish airport. Uday was expecting Shweta and Yuvaan to come and receive him but none of them were there. He saw some of their guards were standing there waiting for him. He got confused not knowing why his family was not there.

He noticed Mr. Singh's wife and son were also there to receive him which made a pang of sadness in his heart to occur feeling the absence of his loved ones. Jessica and Emilie were walking ahead of him including in their own thoughts. They all walked out of the airport collecting their luggage which was carried by his guards. Mr. Singh's wife excitedly came and hugged him because they were out for a long time from India.

"Sir she is my wife and he is my boss Mr. Uday Raghuvanshi." Mr. Singh introduced him with his wife and vice versa.

"Hello sir my husband really admires you." Mrs. Singh said with a polite smile earning a nod from Uday.

"It's my pleasure, Mrs. Singh." He replied with a subtle smile not being in a good mood anymore.

"Sir may I take my leave now?" Mr. Singh asked him because from now on he will be on leave for a week due to being on a long business trip.

"Sure, take care." Uday said and started walking towards his car without giving Mr. Singh another glance.

His guards have already loaded his luggage in the car truck while Jessica and Emilie will be coming in another car arranged by Mr. Singh beforehand. Jessica already noticed his long face and sour mood but she didn't care about anything, so she silently settled herself in the car and it started driving off towards his mansion. Uday dialled Shweta's number right away but it ranged for a few seconds and disconnected.

He tried to call her again and again but it wasn't received by her. So he decided to call Yuvaan and after a few minutes it received which made a hope to flicker in his heart that maybe Yuvaan knows what's happening so that Shweta couldn't come to receive him.

"Hello?" Yuvaan's husky and excited voice came and immediately a smile broke out at Uday's face thinking his brother was so excited to meet him.

"Hello Yuvaan----" as Uday started to speak Yuvaan cut him off immediately.

"Hello bhaiya main aap se baad mein baat karta hoon. Abhi bhabhi maa mujhe lunch ke liye bahar le jaa rahi hain. Main bohot excited hoon bhaiya. Byee." Yuvaan said and before Uday could say anything more the line went completely silent which meant Yuvaan hung up his call.
(Translation: Hello brother, I will talk to you later. Right now my sister in law is taking me out for lunch. I'm very excited, brother. Bye.)

'Lunch ke liye bahar jaa rahe hain? Matlab in logon ko pata hi nahi ki main wapis aa gaya hoon yaa ye log bhul gaye hain. Mr. Singh ne inhe btaya bhi tha mere aane ke baare mein yaa nahi?' Uday started thinking lost in his own thoughts.
(Translation: They are going out for lunch? That means they people don't even know that I've returned or have they forgotten. Did Mr. Singh also told them about my arrival or not?)

He couldn't understand that they both were dying to meet him. Shweta and Yuvaan were calling him again and again asking when he was returning back to India and now that he is back they both didn't even remember let alone come to receive him. He didn't feel it right. He started to think that what if Mr. Singh forgot to inform them about his arrival because he was busy in back to back meetings to inform himself about his arrival.
