"Tu mujhse puch raha hai ki kya hua hai mujhe,
Bata to deti hoon sunne ka hausla hai tujhe,
Kisi ke pairon mein feki gayi sabhi khushiyan,
Kisi ko apne naseebon ki bheek bhi naa mili..."The next morning, the sun started to rise and the birds sitting at the twigs for shelter started to leave their home to find food for their kids and straw to build their nest stronger. The sunlight started to spread all over the city reaching Raghuvanshi's mansion. Yuvaan who was sleeping in a sitting position at the couch started to feel disturbed due to bright light straight at his face. He tried to turn his head around to avoid the light but a weight was stopping him from doing so.
He placed his arm at his eyes and then slept again but then the sunlight started to turn more heated warming his whole body. He annoyingly opened his eyes thinking Shweta must have opened the curtains of the window but he saw he was not in his room. He frowned and looked around only to realise last night he jumped the balcony to check upon the woman who is their guest and slept there only. He saw her still sleeping in his lap.
He turned a little flustered seeing her from closer than he could ever imagine. In the bright sunlight she looked more ethereal and innocent with her cheeks and nose again pink but this was due to heat coming straight to her face. His hand shot in the air automatically to protect her face from the light which was disturbing her too and he could guess it by the small frown at her face. He didn't know what he was doing exactly he could have woken her up simply.
When he thought he was doing unnecessary things he decided to wake her up but then he thought what will he answer her about what he was doing there. Contemplating whether to wake her up or not he decided to wake her up thinking he didn't do anything wrong so why should he be afraid. He gently shook her which made her snuggle her face in his stomach more and her actions made him feel something.
"Arre suniye." He said patting her shoulder gently making sure he doesn't do anything which would make her uncomfortable.
(Translation: Hey listen.)"Arre uth jaiye aap warna mere liye dikkat ho jaayegi." He said in his slightly panicked voice fearing that his sister-in-law must be coming to wake him up as always.
(Translation: Hey wake up or it will be trouble for me.)Soon feeling herself being shaken by someone Jessica started to come out of her deep slumber. She groaned and slowly opened her eyes coming face to face with a stomach. She turned alert and sat up on the couch immediately while the sleep started to leave her mind and eyes. She turned around hastily to see Yuvaan standing there looking at her with concern filled eyes. She stood up facing him.
"What are you doing here?" She questioned him in her cold, accusing tone.
"I- uhmm- I--" Yuvaan struggled to say anything in front of her and he didn't know why.
"What?" She snapped at him folding her hand over her chest.
"At night--- you were sleeping here---- and crying--- so- so- I came here but you pushed me--- here and sleep." Yuvaan let out nervously trying to form a perfect sentence but his English was not good. He still tried to explain to her what happened last night.
Jessica understood that last night she was reading a book and must have fallen asleep on the couch. At night she must be having nightmares and he saw her but what she didn't understand was how she pulled him and slept with her head in his lap. She looked at him who was looking at her with his concern, truthful gaze. She turned around and was about to walk away but his voice again stopped her.
"What happened--- to you?" He again asked truly concerned about her but the concern in his voice made her angry.
"None of your business." She said without looking at him and went inside the room leaving him standing alone on the balcony.
