Issac was walking next to his friend named Maya, half asleep as he tried to stay up.

"Huh...? ...Hey. What are you doing here?" Maya asked, looking at Issac in confusion.

"AAH, I'm... I'm awake!!!" Issac yelled out in shock, when he felt someone place a hand on his shoulder.

"Oh, it's just you." Issac said, looking at Maya.

"Wow, great to see you too. But anyways, are you staying up late again?" Maya asked, looking at her friend.

Then, Issac started looking around and noticing that it wasn't his class.

"W-Wait, this is not the STEM building!" Issac exclaimed, looking around.

"That's why I asked why you're here..." Maya said.

"I'll see you later, I'm going to be late for class!!" Issac yelled out and started towards the building.

"See ya." Maya said, waving and watching Issac leave with a deadpanned look.

Issac finally arrived to the classroom, having an exhausted look on his face, not being used to running so much.

"You're late. AGAIN." The professor said, giving an unimpressed look.

"I'm... I'm sorry sir..." Issac said, having his head down.

"Whatever. Just go take a seat so I can continue with my lecture." The professor said, having his arms crossed over his chest.

"Alright..." Issac said, having a sad look on his face and walked towards an empty spot.

"Now where was I?" The professor said as he continued his lecture.

As class was ending.

"...And that concludes today's lecture." The professor said, finishing his lesson.

"Don't forget, finals will start next week. Review the class notes on blackboard as usual." The professor said, watching as all the students were leaving the room.

As Issac was about to walk out.

"...And YOU. Wait just a minute." The professor called out to Issac.

"I need to talked to you for a bit." The professor said.

"Y-Yes? What is it?" Issac asked, looking at the professor.

"I noticed that you've been behind on your assignments, and that you're almost always late to my classes lately. I understand that you're taking several, but that's no excuse to neglect my classes as well. This is the last week for you to prove that you're still willing to take this major. If you're not gonna give it your all, might as well quit. That's all." The professor said, walking out of the classroom.

Issac looked to the ground, feeling sad and disappointed with himself and letting the pressure finally come crashing down on him and his spirit was crushed when the professor said those words to him.

"Y-Yes sir..." Issac sadly whispered.
