Tsubaki

Chapter 7

(Takes place on same day as last chapter)

I only got like three hours of sleep last night. I attempt to ask Mari about the uniform but she ignored me so I ended up asking Matsu. I sent a message to Cammie showing what I had wear and that I missed her. She knows how I fell about skirts. I hate them. When I went down stairs for breakfast there was a stuffed animal in my seat. I went to the seat and placed it in Yuki seat and sat down to start eating. When Yuki came back from where ever he was at he looked at the animal and then looked at me and started to cry. 

"She t-took H-Haru's s-seat." He cried. My stepmom came in from the kitchen to see what happen. At the same time my dad came in too.  Yuki kept crying and pointing at me. They eventually found out what was going on when I left without eating. I went upstairs and got my school stuff and bag, the map that Rei drew me, and my phone. I threw everything in the bag. I looked at the clock and it said 7:00. An hour and half before school started. What am I going to do? I went downstairs with my shoes in my hand. By this time everyone was eating at the table. I slipped into the shoe room without anyone noticing. 

When I got my shoes on the door open. It was my dad leaving for work. He notice that I was leaving. 

"Do you want a ride?" He asked.

"No thanks. I'm going to walk." I said opening the front door for us.

"Here." I turned to see what he was giving me. Money and a bento. (a lunchbox)

"You don't have to have to giving me that." I said.

"You didn't eat breakfast. So this is for you to get something on your way." He pushed them in my hand. "And it also your lunch." 

"Thanks." I said quietly and turned and went out the gate. I put the bento in the big pocket of my school bag and the money in the smaller pocket with my phone and the map. I got the map to make sure I was going the right way. I ended up in the park that I was at yesterday. There was a cart there was selling coffee and breakfast pastries. I stopped and got an iced coffee and a breakfast pastries. 

I went over and sat down on a bench and pulled out my headphones and phone and put it on shuffle. I signed in my apple account on this phone this last night. I really didn't care what played. My music  went from post-hardcore to k-pop. I finished my breakfast and continued my walk to school. School didn't start for thirty minutes but there was a good amount of kids here. I attempted to find the to the classroom but failed. I ended up having to asking someone. I picked someone that looked like he was a second year. 

"Excuse me, can you help me find classroom 2-1?" I asked someone that walked by. He was tall and had short black hair that was kind of spiked. He was carrying a basketball and two bags. He looked at me form head to toe then answered.

"Yup. That's where I'm going so follow me." He said and started to walk again. "I'm Gou. What's your name?"

"Tsubaki." I said.

"You're the new girl. That's related to Mari, right?"

"Yeah, that's me." 

We got to the classroom and he lead me to a desk. "This is your desk. I sit in front of you and a guy named Rei sits to your right. If you need to get to any where else you can ask us, ok?" I nodded and sat down. My desk was in the last row and right next to the window. I like this desk. Gou sat in his chair so he was facing me. 

"Where are you from Tsubaki?" He asked.

"America." I said.

"So you speak English?" 

"Yes."

"But you speak Japanese so well."

"Japanese is my second language. I also speak German, Korean, Spanish, French, and a little bit of Italian."
