NEJI'S POV
Dinner was weird.
Tenten took Hinata-sama up to their room and told her to sleep it off.
Meanwhile the rest are just being awkward.
Shikamaru fell asleep, Kiba is whistling, Sasuke is just chewing on a tomato and focusing on his food, Sakura and Ino are just picking at their food and talking in soft voices and (STUPID) Naruto is just eating, oblivious to everything.
He is SO annoying. I really don't see why Hinata-sama likes him so much. Maybe for his courage and hard work?
Anyways, I cleared my throat. It was time to say out loud what the boys and I had discussed in the room.
Until I realized somebody was doing the same.
I looked at Tenten and she looked at me. We looked at each other like, 'WTF, dude?'. I sweatdropped as she looked away.
I decided to be a gentleman.
'After you.'
'Arigato. So as I was saying-'
'Wait, what?! I expected you to offer back!'
Tenten looked at me and scowled. 'Hyuuga Neji, after spending three years training together, I would expect you to know that I don't play that way, licking everyone's shoes. If I do something, I do it right.'
Kiba laughed while everyone else smirked at my speechlessness.
Satisfied, Tenten turned away and began to speak. To be honest, I didn't think she had it in her to talk to me like that. Though I've heard that Tenten's insults were really witty and, well, insulting. That girl doesn't hurt your feelings with rude words, she hurts your EGO with stuff that's true. You do NOT want to be at the receiving end of one of her insults.
'So the girls and I have decided that we all need to stick together more. I mean, I know we were pretty close in the Academy, but we kinda drew apart in the break. So let's become good friends again, since this is High School, and it's gonna be tough starting from here. What do you guys think?' she turned to me and smirked, 'It's all yours, Neji.'
We were all dumbfounded. Us boys had been thinking the exact same thing.
It was Naruto who spoke up first.
He grinned at Tenten and gave her a thumbs up. 'Okay. Sure. So, movie in Room 313 on Saturday, dattebayo! Be there!'
'Why MY room?' I groaned. Sasuke's eyebrow twitched as he correct me, 'OUR room, I think you mean...'
Naruto shrugged. 'Not everything can be done in our room, dattebayo.'
I sighed. 'Point Taken.'
