Chapter-11

DEIDARA-THIRD PERSON'S-POV

'So, how's high school going, un?' Deidara asked his cousin on the phone.

'It's amazing, Dei-dei! I'm getting along pretty well. Naruto's hosting a movie night in his room tomorrow. And, guess what?! A guy called me a hottie yesterday!' His cousin, Ino, boasted.

Deidara rolled his eyes. 'Then he's definitely blind, un.'

'Oh shut up. How's college?'

'It's OK...' he trailed off as Tobi burst in. 'DEIDARA-SENPAI!! Guess what TOBI did today?!'

Ino squealed. She always thought that Tobi was very cute. Sadly, the boy would always talk to her in a normal tone.

'HIII TOBI!!!'

Tobi suddenly turned back to normal. 'Oh, hello Ino.'

'Aww, why doesn't he talk to ME in that cute way?'

'There's something called your inside and outside voices, un.'

'Whatever. Ok, I got to go. Sakura's yelling at me for something or the other. Bye!'

'Yay! Now I can tell you what I did today!' Tobi celebrated. He rattled on and on about what he did while Deidara zoned out, collapsing on his bed and fiddling with his clay, grunting now and then.

Itachi and Kisame suddenly burst into the room.

'Itachi-'

'Get this baka inside, I have Head Boy duties.'

'Make Tobi do it.'

'Deidara-'

'NO.' Deidara cut off, sticking his tongue out at Itachi. He rolled his eyes in return and pushed Kisame inside and closed he door. He sat down on his bed and started sharpening his sharkskin knife (which should probably be illegal). Deidara spared him a glance before saying, 'You're obsessed with Itachi, un. Are you in love with him?'

Kisame grinned at him. 'Says the guy who's gay.'

Deidara stiffened and glared at him. 'Shut up, fish boy.'

'Gay means HAPPY! Deidara-senpai is HAPPY! YAAAY!' Tobi squealed, twirling around. Kisame patted Tobi on the head. 'You're too innocent, Tobi.'

Kisame stood up, stretched and turned back to Deidara. 'I still have that video of you.'

'Nani?'

'The one I took during Pride Month? When you thought you were alone but I was in the bathroom? When you wrapped yourself in a rainbow flag and danced around, singing, ''I'm a gay dude, yeah! I'm a gay dude..'' ' he said, demonstrating.

'Woah there, fishie, you're gay?!'

Deidara and Kisame jumped and turned around to see Yahiko standing there in the doorway.

'What do you want?!'

'Calm down, I wanted to borrow your notes! I don't have the attention span to pay attention to Yamato-Sensei during History!'

'Take them and GO, you psychopath!'

'Whatever. But, Kisame, you're gay?! No wonder...wait until I tell Itachi!'

'NO, Yahiko, I'M NOT GAY!'

'Later, suckers!'

Yahiko closed the door and disappeared.

'Oh great.' Kisame muttered. Deidara went back to his clay, relieved that his secret hadn't been exposed.

'Deidara? Why don't you come out to everyone? We're your friends, we won't judge.'
