The next few days, I went without a message from Mark, but I wasn't hung up on it. I had such a lovely day off going shopping in the city centre with my mum and having lunch with her that I didn't even have time to think about it.

"So," My mum started as we sat at opposite ends of the table waiting for our food to arrive and sipping our drinks. "How's the love life? I've heard you've been chatting to someone..." She sipped her drink coyly and raised an eyebrow.

I shoved her arm from accross the table and laughed. "That doesn't mean anything. Anyway, how have you heard?"

"I have my sources." She stayed coy and looked guilty as I stared straight at her. "Janet told me, after hearing it from Charlotte." I rolled my eyes and mouthed a curse word, which I got a stern look for.

"I'd just rather you not gossip about me..." I trailed off, glancing at my mum who was urging me to continue. "You wouldn't believe me anyway if I told you." I took a sly sip of my own drink. She raised her eyebrows and looked puzzled, so I sighed and continued. "His name is Mark, and I met him at Comic-Con."

"Hun, there are probably hundreds of Marks at Comic-Con; what's so hard to believe about this one?" I nodded and she looked taken aback. "Not Mark, the guy who Charlotte likes?" I nodded again. "Are you sure?"

"Oh, pretty sure. I asked him."

"He could easily just say yes. Is it his account or just one of those fan things?" I laughed to myself as I thought about how little my mum knew about the Internet.

"No, mum. I took about five hundred double-takes on his verified account, and asked if he'd been hacked, which he denied."

"Well..." She thought of another 'excuse' for this strange occurence. "Of course, I'm not meaning to say that he wouldn't want to talk to you-" I cut her off at this sentence.

"Mum, it's fine. Why would he want to talk to me? He's got enough on his plate."

She sighed and took a large sip of her drink. "Georgia, do you really want me to launch into a doting mother lecture about why exactly he would want to talk to you?" We both laughed and I grabbed her hand.

"No, I suppose not. I just can't believe it's happening." I squeezed her hand and thanked the waitress as she placed my food in front of me.

"So, you're still talking to him?"

"Well, when I can – he gets a bit busy on some days." She smiled and began on her food; from the look on her face, I knew she was just happy that I was talking to a boy again, after avoiding them since my last relationship ended rather badly.

> Hey, I'm so sorry I haven't talked to you in a few days! I've been really busy :(

< Haha, that's okay, it's not like I live on you talking to me ;)

> Of course you do ;)

< Lol :p What have you been up to then?

> It's been a crazy week of filming! I haven't had time to get on Facebook or Twitter, which I suppose could be making some fans antsy :(

< I'm sure they'll understand, Mark – you're a busy guy!

> I suppose, I don't like to leave them hanging though :D Oh, and before I forget, don't forget that I didn't brush off the comment you made about my body ;)

Oh, shit; I knew he'd have taken note on that. But did the fact that he'd just put a wink face mean he wasn't bothered by it? I could feel myself turning up the flirtatious comments, but just waiting for the right moment to say them, which I hated because it would kill Charlotte for her to know that me and Mark were flirting. One part of me even felt that I was being cruel for even talking to Mark, and that I should stop, but I couldn't; if it got to the point where almost every sentence was flirty, then I'd tell her, I decided.
