Chapter 2

"Good morning class." Our teacher said. "Good morning mrs whittenburg". For some reason it feels like we're in elementary school when we say good morning to the teacher. "Hey Ariel". Kalani said. "Yes kalani". "I was wondering if you wanted to come over this afternoon after school?".
"Um sure". "So class today we will be talking about the French Revolution". While I was taking notes my phone went off so I slid it on my textbook the text read
Hey Ariel it's mom call me during study hall I need to talk to you about something,love mom.
I replied with ok and turned off my and continued to pay attention.
*bbbbrrrriiiinnnngggg* the bell rang signaling that class is over.

Kalani POV
Ariel was acting weird when I asked if she wanted to come over which is weird cause she always excited to go to my house. "Hey Ariel are okay? You're acting strange". "Yeah I'm fine, it's my mom she texted me telling me to call her during study hall". She said "ok is everything all right". Then she said "probably wants to tell me something she forgot to say this morning". "Yeah well I'm going to head to second period don't want to be late". "Yeah me too bye see ya at lunch lani". "Ok bye". As soon as I walked into the classroom the bell rang signaling the start of second period. The teacher started the attendance.
Genevieve Gomez, Brianna Gonzalez, Kalani Tario. "Here". I said. Then the teacher kept going on about quadratic equations for the rest of the period. Then the bell rang signaling the end of class.

Ariel's POV
On my way to lunch. My mom texted so I looked at it and it said
"Hey Ariel it's mom instead of you calling me during study hall I'll just tell you now, We're moving to America in two weeks cause your father got a job out there I know it's soon but it's for the best, Love Mom." Ok that was a lot of news to take in how am I supposed to tell cayden and Kalani. When I got to the cafeteria I saw Kalani and cayden both sitting at our table. When I walked up to them they were arguing about something so I interrupted them. "Hey guys I have to tell you something". "What is it". Kalani and Cayden said at the same time. "Well when my mom called she told me something that will change our lives forever". They both nodded and I continued. "My mom told me that we're moving to America, but she didn't exactly say where in America". "WHAT?!". They both yelled. "Yeah guys , but I'm not leaving for about two weeks so ,we should make these last few weeks we have together will be the best weeks together". Then all of a sudden Kalani just gets up and runs off crying."Kalani". " Kalani" I yelled after her . Then she stopped and started saying. things like "I don't want you to go your my best friend". "Your my best friend what are me and Cayden going to do". " lani please calm down I have an Idea we could FaceTime, Skype, text, talk on the phone", I said. " but it wouldn't be the same cause you won't be here im going to miss you like crazy". " I know, I know I'm going to miss you guys so much, But maybe for Christmas,Easter, and summer break I could come back here to visit you guys, or you guys can find some way to come out to see me". "Yeah that sounds great". Cayden said. It startled me when he said that cause I had no idea that he was there.

Cayden's POV
I was upset when Ariel told us that she was moving in two weeks. TWO WEEKS!!! that such a short time though. Kalani snapped me out my thoughts when she ran away crying and Ariel trying to stop her. So I followed them, but I didn't want to interrupt there talked so I decided to ease and i heard Kalani say "I don't want you to go your my best friend"."what about me and Cayden what are we going to do". Then Ariel said "I have an idea we could. FaceTime, Skype, text, and talk on the phone". "It won't be the same cause you won't be here and we're going to miss you like crazy". Kalani said. "I know ,I know I'm miss you guys like crazy too, but maybe for Christmas, Easter, and summer break I could come here and visit you guys , or maybe you guys could come and visit me". Then I decided to break the silence by saying "yeah that sounds great". Ariel jumped because she didn't know that I was standing there listening. "Yeah that's like a really good plan". Kalani said agreeing with me. So we all decided to go to Kalani to have a sleepover and watch a movie. Man I'm going to really Ariel and these nights where we have movie nights and sleepovers at Kalani's, I'm so going to miss this all of us being together and especially Ariel.
