Midnas POV
I saw Epona and Blacknight outside of Links house so I got kinda curious as to why they were still here. They should have left yesterday. Walking into the house in my human form I climbed up the ladder leading to Links bed.
''How cute!" I squealed as I saw Link protectively holding (Y/n) by the waist as they slept. But I must have said that a little to loud because (Y/n) woke up.
"Morning Minda." She said as she stretched. Blushing madly as she saw how Link was holding her.
Your POV
"Morning Midna." I stretched and tried to move but something stopped me from doing so. I looked down to see Links arms around my waist, this caused me blushed madly.
"Don't you two look cute together."
"Shut up Midna." She poked links face and slowly he opened his eyes.
"Morning (Y/n)."
"Good morning Link. Can you... Uhm, let go of my waist."
"Oh my god I am so sorry!" He let go quickly and allowed me to move which I did very quickly. Grabbing my sword, shield, and sail cloth I jumped down the ladder frombhis bed and exited the house.
Links POV
I actually didn't want to let go of her so when she left I just smirked and got out of bed.
"You did that on purpose... Didn't you?"
"Oh I did all right. And I didn't want to let go."
"Aww... A man who actually cares. Why don't you take her to the little waterfalls in faron woods, seems as though it is on your way there."
"That might be a good idea. Thanks Midna." I got up and grabbed my sword and shield quickly running out of the house behind (y/n). She was already on Blacknight and had Eponas reins in her hand holding them out for me to take.
"Are you ready?"
"Yes but we have to go somewhere first."
"Okay then let's go. Lead the way... Hero."
Your POV
I wanted to go to the waterfalls in Faron woods, but I don't think Link would want to come with me. But wait a sec... This is the way to the waterfalls. Does he actually want to take me there? Well I guess I will just want to find out.
Time skip---
He did bring me to the waterfalls. And no matter how many times I came here they still amaze me with there beauty. The only sad is is that we can't stay here for very long.
We dismounted at sat at the waters edge. He kept looking at me but everytime I would catch his gaze he would quickly look away.
"Uhm... (Y/n)."
"Yes Link?"
"How can I put this... Oh I know!" He sceamed throw his back pack and came upon a full heart case. "My heart... Now belongs to you." This struck you hard as he held out the heart case.
"But... But Link, you need that." You pointed at the case.
"I have more... Please just take it." He gave you those ocean blue eyes in a puppy dog type of way.
"Fine..." You grabbed the heart and blushed. "Thank you Link." You gave him a quick peck on the check. "Time to leave." You stood and added the extra heart to yourself. You mounted and left Link there with a blush on his face. He finally decided to head out in Epona only minutes behind you.
Links POV
I did it! I gave her my heart. I just hope it don't backfire on me.
"Hey Link."
"Oh... Hey Midna."
"So... How did it go?"
"I gave her my heart."
"Good boy."
Time skip---
Your POV
I arrived at the castle finally to be greeted by my new recruits practicing with Javier. I walked into the castle to see my father and Zelda sitting on their thrones with... Zelda from the Sky loft... This should be interesting.
"Ah... (Y/n) you are back, how did it go?"
"Swell father. Sister. Zelda? Why are you here?" You bowed to the other three royals.
"The uhm... Sky loft needs your help."
"With what mam?"
"The uhm... Er... You need to head back to the surface."
"Of course. What is wrong?"
"The forest temple is being thrown into peril."
"When do wish for me to leave?"
"Today."
"Will do me lady." You left the room to see Link about to walk in.
"Hey ba..."
"Don't Link. I must leave." You brushed your way past him and went to the brazier.
Time skip---
You got your new shield and returned to the castle to see your father,sister,Link, and Zelda. You approached the bottom step and knelt on your right knee.
Links POV
"Hero of the Sky reporting for duty your highness."
"Hero? Of the Sky? But I thought the hero was a man." I questioned.
"This is why I don't like to talk about her much." Her father mumbled.
"Yes my Hero, please meet me outside."
"Yes mam." She walked out the door with no goodbye's.
"But Zelda... Where is she going?"
"Oh dear Link... She will be saving our first temple. She will not return for some time."
"Bu..."
"We must be going. Farewell." With that Zelda was out the door and birds could be heard outside so I charged after her to see (Y/n) on a bright red and yellow bird. Zelda was astride a purple and yellow. With a wave of goodbye they where off into the Sky.
