The sound of someone wearing armor boots stomping down the halls of metal and stone. The heat unbearable for anyone to handle. A knight whose face is covered by the helmet they wore of black armor and red tints, as they walked down the halls swiftly, their steps booming with a metal clack with each they take. Their cape of many scales flows behind as they hold their sword firmly. They seemed to be in a rush of fury. They walked quickly down the hall, passing servants who became frightened as the soldier walked by, not caring to even dare look at any of the cookies. Even of dessert monsters that were being held by chains quivered in fear as the cookie walked by.
Soon the soldier reach two large doors and with putting their hands in it, slammed them open. They stood there as they stared out. There. On a balcony. There stood another soldier. A soldier of pale purple tints and white armor. A soldier who stood there in silence with a cape stained black and torn while they stared into the distance of the lava filled lands of a valley and kingdom. There was a king moment of silence as the two soldiers sensed each other's presence.
"You... what have you done." The soldier in black armor said firmly, their tone showing nothing but fury. The other soldier remains silent. "Do you know what you've done!" The soldier shouted out of anger as they stomped towards the silent knight in white armor. "You... you will regret this. All. Of. This." The black knight threatened as he lowered his voice. The white knight again used silence as a response before slowly turning around. "You have had my loyalty for we both can know. Since the day we were baked..." the knight said as he unsheathed his sword, that has curves similar to flames. "You dare... attack my kingdom, with my beast, and expect no consequences?" They said as they held their sword up to the white knight's throat. The silent knight remained unphased and again, silent. "Of course... you don't think that, do you? Your intentions are always the same... you do what you do. With no question. Making everyone one question you. And all for nothing." The soldier in black and red said, lowering their sword away from the one in white and purple.
"This was your plan all along. Wasn't it?" The one in black asked, not expecting an answer either way. And with that, they indeed got no answer from the other knight. "You... destroyed part of my kingdom. And... and silenced my beast into the world of darkness. And you enjoyed every. Second. Of it. Didn't you?" Their tone was getting more strained and harsh and they held back any lash out towards the silent one. "You aren't what you used to be. And you know it." The black knight said as he sheathed the sword. Again, they were met with a quiet response of nothing.
"Speak! I know you have a voice! Or is that something you lost as well?!" They shouted, getting tired of the white knight's silence. The knight in white only stared at the one in black, their face not visible due to the helmet. They both stared at each other before the knight in black armor took off his helmet, revealing their face. Their hair brown as bitter chocolate, their eyes of a deep blood red color, their expression of disappointment and anger. "I trusted you. Yet you do this. To a kingdom, to a friend you've known for almost all our lives." They said as they looked at the knight in white who remained with a helmet on. The wind slowly blew against the two as they stood silently again in the balcony of the castle. The cookie in black armor lowered their helmet as they looked down. "Tsk... I suppose you're not the hero I once knew as the one the witches created." they said as they turned back.
The knight in white stayed silent, the wind blowing their cape, which was the only movement that came from them at all. "Whatever happened to you... did you let the darkness consume you as it did to Junior?" The knight in black said in a dark tone as they looked up at the one in white. There was silence again. "I suppose you decided to agree to this silence, my dear salty friend... though, I don't think you deserve the title as friend anymore." They continued as the wind of the hot air of the land blew past them."Even with the sweetness that lingers in my dough, and I can't help but be left with bitterness once more with your actions." They continued.
With a final moment of silence, the black knight turned their back towards the other soldier. They stepped past the doors as they walked away, but stopped to say one more thing to the knight in white before leaving them alone on the balcony.
"Not everything will be your way with that intimidating facade of being... Silent, Salt. You know that well enough don't you."
