The day started like any other. Jungkook woke up to the sound of birds chirping outside the window, the soft morning light filtering through the curtains. Taehyung was already gone, likely busy with meetings, leaving Jungkook to his quiet morning routine.

But as he stood in the kitchen preparing breakfast, a sharp pain shot through his abdomen. Jungkook gasped, clutching the counter for support.

“Not now,” he muttered, his heart racing. The baby wasn’t due for another two weeks.

When the pain returned, stronger this time, he realized it wasn’t a false alarm.

The Call:

Jungkook fumbled for his phone and dialed Taehyung’s number.

“Taehyung,” he said, his voice trembling, “I think it’s time.”

There was a moment of silence on the other end before Taehyung’s voice came through, steady but urgent. “I’m on my way. Stay where you are.”

Within minutes, Taehyung burst through the door, his usually composed demeanor replaced with visible worry.

“Let’s go,” he said, gently helping Jungkook to the car.

At the Hospital:

The hospital room was a blur of activity. Nurses moved around efficiently, setting up monitors and preparing for the delivery. Jungkook lay on the bed, his breaths coming in short, panicked gasps.

“I’m scared,” he admitted, clutching Taehyung’s hand.

Taehyung leaned closer, his voice calm despite the fear in his eyes. “You’re the strongest person I know, Jungkook. You can do this.”

Hours passed in a haze of pain and anticipation. Taehyung never left Jungkook’s side, his grip firm and reassuring.

The Moment:

Finally, after what felt like an eternity, a sharp cry filled the room.

“It’s a boy!” the doctor announced, holding up the tiny, squirming baby.

Jungkook’s exhaustion melted into relief as he watched the nurse place their son in his arms. The baby’s small hand curled around Jungkook’s finger, and tears streamed down his face.

Taehyung stood beside him, staring at the baby with wide eyes. Slowly, he reached out and touched his son’s cheek.

“He’s perfect,” Taehyung whispered, his voice thick with emotion.

Jungkook looked up at him, a soft smile on his lips. “We did it.”

A Family United:

As the nurses left them alone, Taehyung sat beside Jungkook on the hospital bed, wrapping an arm around his shoulder.

“What should we name him?” Jungkook asked, gazing at their son.

Taehyung thought for a moment before replying, “How about Taejun? It means ‘great and talented.’”

Jungkook nodded, tears brimming in his eyes again. “Taejun Kim. It’s perfect.”

That night, as Jungkook and Taehyung watched their son sleep, they felt a profound sense of unity. The journey had been difficult, but in that moment, everything felt worth it.

For the first time, they were a true family, ready to face whatever challenges life might bring.
