I woke up the next day with a server headache. My eyes were puffy, and I was mentally and physically tired, although I had just woken up.
I sat up and turned to the bedside table to reach for my phone but was shocked at the beautiful bunch of lavender flowers sitting on my bedside table. I liked them for a few seconds because they were so fucken pretty before thoughts of everything Malikai said to me started flooding in.

I checked my phone to see a bunch of messages from him filled with hearts and paragraphs I didn't read. I got up , did the bed , and showered, and then I lotioned and got dressed.
I didn't have any plans today, so I wore simple stay at home sweats because it was chilly outside. I grabbed the flowers on my way out, and when I got downstairs, I threw them in the bin.
"Morning," said Leah awkwardly as she sipped on coffee while she watched me throw out my flowers." Morning," I said back while beginning to make tea."How did you sleep?" asked Sidney, who sat next to Leah.
I wasn't dumb. I knew they knew malikai, and I fought last night . We were screaming and banging at the walls and door, so they might not have heard the exact words being exchanged, but they definitely knew we fought.
" I slept okay," I said before grabbing my tea and making my way to the living room. As I was sitting, I heard a loud "oliver" echo from within the house. "Living room," I said, replying to Josh, who has made it a habit to scream for me when he got here.
"Heyy," he said with a smile as he approached me, but his smile faded when he got close enough to see what I looked like."Are you okay?"he asked as he gestured for the man that he came with dressed in construction clothing to sit on the couch.
I waved at the construction guy before he greeted me back with a small smile." Oliver, I asked if you are okay," said josh again as he sat next to me." No," I said as I shook my head . Tears started brimming as Josh got closer to give me a hug.
"Ohhh oli, what happened?" he asked while hugging me in a comforting way. " We had a fight ...a big one... the was screaming and shouting and punching of walls, " I said in a whisper, beginning to cry." Oli, I'm so sorry, doll. I'm sure you will work things out ... he loves you so much, and honestly, he looked so miserable today," said josh.
I was relieved to hear that malikai was okay and miserable, but a small, evil part of me wished he had gotten beat up by one of his drug enemies while drunk. "I dont think we going to fix things this time. I'm done with him," I said, feeling defeated.
"Heyyyy ! Dont decide important things like that on the spot . Think about it carefully, " he said ."Whatever," I said dismissingly as I stood up with my finished glass of tea.
