Special Chapter: "Christmas"

3rd POV

T'was the day before Christmas, December had already come around. Snow littered the air and streets and joy began to blossom within each and every person, even in the littlest ways.

Except Bakugo.

Katsuki: WHO SAID THAT!?

He was more or less annoyed by all of the holiday festivities coming to light. But even he couldn't deny the excitement that welled up in this season of cheer, in his own personal way.

Class 1-A had made the unanimous decision to spend this year's Christmas together in their dorm building.

A great opportunity for the classmates to grow and nurture their bond with one another indeed.

And what of our young golden hero? What was he up to the day before Christmas?

Well, (Y/N) had taken this opportunity to spend more time with his daughter, Eri Kinsaki. The young man had come a long way from just being her caretaker (who was actually an undercover hero in training) now he was her legal caretaker, a full time job.

Though he had to juggle a lot of his time to dedicate to studies and hero stuff, he had always made sure to give most of his time to his beloved daughter.

Her birthday had just recently passed, making her a year older now.

(Y/N): 'They grow up so fast...'

You thought with a tear leaving your eye. You had long realised you would have to watch as Eri eventually grew up and not need you anymore. Every parents' fear.

Right now the two of them were in Kiyashi Ward Shopping Mall, the first mall you had ever taken her into if you remember correctly.

Shoko though was currently absent, taking this day off to visit her mother at the hospital. One day you'd have to meet her mother too. You only hoped she was nicer than Endeavour.

As far you know you and Endeavour weren't really at great terms. After all, you did have a robot suplex him. Might be another reason to hate the Kinsaki lineage.

But back on track, you had taken Eri to Kiyashi Ward Shopping Mall. People swarmed the halls in a holiday frenzy, buying gifts for their loved ones or even for themselves.

That wasn't the reason you had taken Eri there though, you had come here for something else.

Eri: Dad?

(Y/N): Yes Petite?

Eri: What are we doing here?

The two of you were standing Infront of a rather large line of people, Parents and children alike but Eri didn't exactly like crowded places so she stood by you as much as she could. Cute!

(Y/N): You'll see soon Petite, just hang on tight for me alright?

She wordlessly nodded, gripping into the warmth of your hand tightly with you gripper her little one a bit more gently.

After a little longer while of waiting, you had finally reached the end of the line. Infront of Eri stood a man sitting in a chair with a child seated on his lap.

The man was a jolly rotund man with a large white beard and a soft looking red suit to match. Santa Claus was currently seated inside of the mall.

You'd think with the surfacing of quirks that people would start to look to someone like All Might instead of Santa, but the spirit of Christmas lived on.
