Sorry this update took so long. I was on vacation last week, and had no time to commit to writing. But I did have a good portion of it already written before leaving.
Anyway here is the chapter you've been waiting for.

Chapter 7: Getting in the Closet
Jake
After the events of the past weekend, I have been intensely confused. Not just about everything. Like, what was I going to do about Ariana after what happened Friday? What words do I have to say to Max after he kissed me? When am I going to develops my freaking powers!? Like seriously I'm almost 18 and Raven got her powers at 16.
Anyways, my most important problems just so happen to reside in the fiery drama pit that is high school. Unfortunately, there was no place to escape your problems except maybe a janitor's closet. And one of my problems was unleashed unexpectedly, catching me off guard.
"Hey Jake," Ariana greeted, walking up to me and wrapping herself around my arm. She was followed by Stacy and Tye.
"Ari, we need to talk about some things," I say as calm as possible, making sure to use her nickname. "We need to slow things down. Like, way down."
"What about Friday?" she plead, full of desperation. She began to unwrap herself from my side. She looked genuinely taken back. This was going to be hard.
"We were drunk," I sighed. "And I was arguably high."
"High?" Stacy asked concerned.
"Yeah, I think someone gave me a pot brownie," I responded.
"Damn it Randy," she murmured before walking away.
"So, you're breaking up with me?" Ariana asked with watery eyes.
I would say we were never really together, but that would add insult to injury, and it would hurt me seeing her completely fell apart in front of me.
"Listen, you came on a little too strong for me, and it was kind of unattractive. Don't get me wrong, you are hot, but if this is going to work, things need to go a lot slower," I said softly.
"Yeah, yeah, yeah. That's fine," she stated backing up, and walking away.
"Hey, don't feel bad about this. She's been through worse. Are you still coming to soccer practice Wednesday?" he questioned.
"Oh, yeah," I answered. He nodded before walking away. I immediately regret my decision to join a sport. I haven't worked out in who knows how long. I'm surprised I'm even able to keep my somewhat athletic build, which was very misleading.
Now that I think about it, maybe I have super strength. I'll have to test that later, but now I have to start getting to class before I'm late.
"Jake!" I heard Raven shout from behind me. I turned around to see her basically running towards me. I quickly turned back around, and proceeded to walk. Faster. A lot faster. "What?! Don't speed up!"
Out of nowhere she body slams me into a nearby janitor's closet.
"Let me out," I demanded, reaching for the door handle.
She swatted my hand away, and blocked the exit with her body. "No. Tell me what's wrong."
"I'm going to be late for class."
"Since when were you such a goody two-shoes?" she joked before turning serious again. "What is wrong?"
"Nothing is wrong," I insisted.
