Jam packed Jack

Chapter One

Lindsey Grey walked in, intimidated and frightened. She stared at her schedule, determined to find her first class early. Lindsey's head was spinning... which floor am I on, is my outfit weird, do I see any of my friends? She was prepared to be flustered and nervous, but nothing could have prepared her for the craziness of the halls of high school. Her old school wasn't nearly this big. The halls started to clear up as everyone found their classrooms, but Lindsey still couldn't find hers! She knew she was on the right floor, but was too nervous to ask for help. She walked and walked when she felt a tap on her shoulder. She flipped around, both hands grasping her schedule. "You lost?" She looked up, this guy much taller then she. He had short brown hair, slight freckles and green eyes. "Y-yes." She stuttered out, unsure if this stranger actually wanted to help her. "Well, what number is your room? I can help you if you want." He said. His voice was deep but friendly. "I'm going to biology in room 207." He smiled, and she realized his teeth were perfectly white and straight. "That's where I'm going to! Are you a sophomore? Oh and follow me, it's super close." "No, I'm a freshmen." She said. Were there going to be a lot of upperclassmen in her classes? And more importantly, was this cute sophomore boy really  helping her out? Lindsey had never been very confident, always stood on the sidelines. She liked playing midfield in soccer, it's the defenses fault if the other team scores, and the offenses if their team didn't score. "Gee, either I'm really dumb, or your just really smart." He said, walking in beside her. She smiled and he said "I'm Jack, by the way." "Lindsey." She said, getting more confident with this guy every minute. "Well, here we are. Ladies first!" He winked and opened the door for her. She smiled at him and walked in. If all of high school was this great, she was going to have a great four years.
