Act- 2 chapter 8

{Act-2 epilogue}

Xander stands at a table where he places down papers and pushes them over to a figure. "So this is what you're offering the kiniko people" the figure stands and grins. "Xander, your king all you had to do was ask for our forgiveness and I would gladly agree to your terms" the figure walls over to the window and smiles at the rising sun. "We better prepare" the figure walls past Xander putting a hand on his shoulder. "Careful with Alice she's not exactly the most stable at the moment" the figure leaves and Xander stands there in the room alone.

"There's not much left to prepare, we need to hope for the best from here on out" Xander picks up his sword and walks out.

Kai was waiting outside the door for his father. "Did he agree?" Kai asked pushing away from the wall. "Yes he did, we have a chance now" Xander walks off. Kai follows behind, eventually stopping at Kim's door. He knocks on the door and Kim answers. "What'd they say?" She asked.

"Apparently they said they'll help which means everything's goes to plan, I hate having to go again Talin but there's an entire kingdom at stake" Kai sighs thinking about it all. "What if we try convincing Lance to not go along with the war?" Kim suggested.

"You saw how he was on his speeches he wants to go through with it no matter what" it was true, Lance wanted this war he wanted nothing but the war to happen, all Lance wanted was a war, death, blood sheed, he wanted blood to stain the sand of Scin.

Kai stares at Kim reassuring her that things are going well and leaves. Kim sighs and closes her door she looks out her window seeing the rising sun, perhaps one last time, this was a war who knows what could happen...

Lance stands on a hill of sand. He stares down the large kingdom walls. "So Daniel my advisor, just how long until it begins?" Lance turns around to look at Daniel. "A matter of moment out scouts at Excupse have told us that the kiniko official agreed with the king, this war is inevitable at this point" lance grins.

"Great, once this is over, Talin will be able to expand further and your research can continue on to more greater matters" lance walks past Daniel back to the main camp. "Yes, my research about that, once this all over I have a very urgent matter to speak with you about" lance turns around intrigued. "You don't say, very well once this way is over we can chat"

The sun continues to rise, so does tension. Valarie stands on the wall watching the camps closely and formations grow. "You seem tense?" The dragon said leaning forward beside her. "How can I not I'm going to war..." The dragon looks at her before looking at the army. "Yes I can see why that's scary, a war is inevitable and it's outcome could decide yours and many others life, you have the right to be so tense, that would be if you didn't have a dragon on your side" they spoke with a smug look.

"Yes I am lucky, no one's seen dragons in years, they won't see it coming..." Valarie watches as more gather. "If I may ask, why were you in the castle cellar?" The dragon's smile fades. "Let's just say the old royal didn't keep his side of the deal" the dragon leaves after saying this.

Valarie watches as they leave, Shawn walls up seeing the dragon leave. "What's up them?" Valarie shrugs. "Something about my father not keeping his ends of the deal" Shawn walls over taking a look at the army ahead of the wall. Shawn looked confused. "What's wrong?" Valarie asked. "I can't see lance, Daniel or even Abigail, is there any eyes on the rest of the army, this army is but a fraction of the man Talin actually has" Shawn looked closer.

"Your highness, some one has arrived with some words!" A guard shouts. Valarie looks at Shawn and both go to check it out.

Kim had flown all the way over to them, which wasn't a good idea as she was still recovering. "The people from Excupse are on their way, they should be here soon Destiny's gonna use a teleportation spell to send them all here"

"What, she can't possibly cast a teleportation spell that large, especially this far, that's too much for her" Shawn gets worried and materializes his cane. "Wait Shawn she has a plan for that, plus you should stay here just in case something happens, trust Destiny on this" Kim says stopping Shawn.

Shawn was nervous but gave in eventually. "Fine..." Kim smiles and looks up as a rune appears near the castle. "That should be them."

A breeze of wind starts to pick up behind them which grabs Kim's attention. "What's wrong?" Shawn asked. "The wind, it drought me a message, something's not right on the other side of that rune" Kim gets nervous and looks at Shawn.

The rune explodes into a bright light, the army was there perfectly fine but Destiny was nowhere to be seen. "Where's Destiny..." Kim said worriedly. Kim flies down and tires asking around.

Kim flies back up to Shawn. "What'd they say?" He asked. "They were suddenly undetattack as they were being teleported and explosion went off outside the wall and shouting was heard" Shawn looks down at the army. "There's no fox demons, it's only horned demons..." Shawn looks back to Kim.

"Something's not right, we need to go and check on the others" shawn says. "Valarie stay here and keep these soldiers on stand there still the army lining up at the front, be watchful" Shawn looks over to Kim. "We don't have time to wait hurry up!" Kim says worriedly.

Valarie watches as Shawn and Kim get teleported away. Valerie looks to some guards. "Get some people down there and get the demon soldiers ready!" She says. "Yes ma'am" they says before dispatching soldiers and others.

As the blue light dissapers, Shawn looks around seeing the entire kingdom in golden flames, houses beuning streets destroyed and walls collapsed.
